Guest Posted May 13, 2003 Share Posted May 13, 2003 Okay, I listened to the bassoon orchestration from the opening of "Forest Battle" (the film version), and I recognized it from some of the orchestration used in "Hyperspace". I know that there's some trombone orchestration there that sounds similar, but I also hear the exact part that's in "Forest Battle", too. It seems like in Hyperspace, it's a bass part or something.As a matter of fact, the opening of "Forest Battle" sounds very similar to "Hyperspace". There's no reason to do that intentionally and if he did he would make the connection more obvious. Morn 8 Posted May 13, 2003 Share Posted May 13, 2003 I agree Adam, there is certainly some similarity, but I think it relates to his sensibilities and style because it's not significant enough to be a deliberate quote.
