  1. What is with all this bollicks again? They are both equal.
  2. I'm a JW snob. I find value in everything he's done...and I don't like people picking on HeartBeeps. Funk that!
  3. Close Encounters...Star Wars is the bees knees and started it all for me.
  4. Was anyone else here even born in the 60's?...should be good.
  5. Jaws...extranemely reluctantly...but "When You Wish Upon A Star" is one of my favourite songs...and Star Wars is my favourite score.
  6. Superman..."Leaving Home" & "The Flying Sequence" make me hesitate but I can't vote for the other 3 right now.
  7. 1941...my vote for Midway didn't register in one round either despite voting early...some sort of rigging going on? ;-)
  8. Dear FSM, why have you done this to me when I've just bought 12 of your CD's to get an Omega Man? Must resist for now...must find money tree and time machine.
  9. There's 26 violins, 16 violas, 10 cellos, 4 bass, 8 trombones, 2 bass trombones, 4 harps, 3 guitars and 3 percussionists. The sound depends on the track: from chamber-music-y to very symphonic. One very meaty track is "Hollywood and Vines". The cellos really kick arse. And of course the quieter stuff really compliments the action material: "Win One For The Reaper", "Life and Death". Two of my favourite tracks are from two of my favourite scenes in the series: "Locke'd Out Again" and "Parting Words" both starting quietly but build to emotional climaxes. "Getting Ethan" is a pulse-pounding action track. I had my doubts about this CD when it was announced first but I really love it.
  10. Why do i like JW? Star Wars, ostinatos and counterpoint...the rest just flowed automatically.
