Next Saturday Oct. 6, KUSC Los Angeles radio will broadcast the John Williams concert held at the Hollywood Bowl last month.

He comes from a time when the craft of music in film was still one of the ear, heart and mind. Today, sadly, the craft is largely technical. Most composers do not conceive their music "inwardly" but rather at the computer--- and with rather limited skills, musically, at that. Song for World Peace is nice too, but I slightly prefer the Film Night performance for the ending (although the cello solo part is better in this one)
