I'm in a similar position...while I'd be able to listen at work just fine, the French site isn't working for me, I haven't seen it on any of the torrent sites and I'm waiting for my physical CD to come from SAE.

"Sunny Outlook" is Sideways Sun waking up in the hospital in "The Last Recruit," and "Reunion and Reneging" is their reunion on the beach from the end of that episode. The B&N sample includes the beginning of their theme from the beach scene. Which means that aside from the two bonus tracks from the finale, the set leaves off the last four episodes...though I don't remember if there was much worthwhile music in "The Candidate" (I found the Life & Death reprise for Jin & Sun disappointingly bog-standard, especially considering the gorgeous combination of Life & Death and Jin/Sun's theme from season four) and I think "What They Died For" just had the one standout track with the culmination of Agent Desmond's theme. Oh! There's also the prison break scene from "The Candidate," with some nice actiony variations on one of Smocke's themes, and more of the O6 theme as they're leaving the sub. The Theory page attached to the CD page on Lostpedia has the list of episodes and scenes for each track, and someone's started making track-title pages today based on the samples. It should all get merged together on the main CD page next week after the official release. It's amazing how quickly that thing gets updated sometimes.

Yeah, the theme was used throughout that episode. (I just noticed it buried in the mix in the "World's Worst Car Wash" sample too.) While it's grown on me in some of the other appearances, I definitely agree that the best use of it was at the end of "What They Died For"; if that track doesn't make its way onto another release it'll be a real shame. "A Memorable Kiss" is Hurley's awakening; after they kissed and Hurley said he was remembering stuff, the camera pulled back to reveal Agent Desmond watching from his car, with a brief reprise of his theme. It really is brief, though, kind of like the scene when it was revealed that Desmond was the one who called Jack about Christian's coffin a few episodes later.

You mean Sideways Desmond's theme, right? It's in the samples for "George of the Concrete Jungle" and "None the Nurse." It should show up briefly at the end of "A Memorable Kiss" too, long after the part in the sample.

I got that same email yesterday, and apparently they got the right price through their system before they charged my credit card on Sunday. If you have an Amazon account you can login and track your package. Mine hasn't had any updates since Monday, though, when it was still in Springfield MA. Did you get Super Saver Shipping? I did, and expect to get the box on Friday or Saturday.

So far I've managed to stick to those 42-second samples from the other day, but I'm pretty sure I'm going straight to "Wrong Choice, Right Choice" as soon as I get the set. I hope I'm not asking anything untoward, but how can I get the Lego music tracks (without owning the game, since I've nothing to play it on)?

I gave ROTS a 5. For purposes of comparison: TPM: 2.5 AOTC: 4 ANH: 8.5 TESB: 10 ROTJ: 9.5

My favorite section is the rendition of the Force theme at the very beginning. I went into this score prepared to hate every bit of it, but that section impressed me (while the transition out of the TPM "Main Title" recording most certainly did not--in the movie or on the CD). I was actually looking forward to seeing how the section would fare in the movie, and I suppose that other than being almost completely buried under engine revving it was all right. Glenn

Best use of choir in a Williams score?

Return of the Jedi, for the same reason others have given.
