Never had the chance to purchase Cherry 2000. Another possible Poledouris release this month, I hope this is the case. It may not be Red October but I will be happy with this 2fer indeed. -

Hey Richard what about 1992 Hoffa by D. Newman? The original sdtk release contained only 42 minutes of music. I'm sure there's a lot more music from this very long movie. I wouldn't mind a complete release to Hoffa. -

I hope it's Breakdown as well. This will be LLL first Poledouris release, and hopefully not the last. -

As I was kidding about Red October earlier in this thread. If (just guessing folks) a 2 CD set. Disc one the complete score which is about 60 + minutes long. The 2nd disc would be the original MCA album plus any alternate and unused cues. -

Intrada has been able to release scores owned by Disney that never had an OST in the first place (Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Journey Of Natty Gann, etc). But they haven't been able to expand on an score that did have an OST (which is a bummer for someone like me who really wants The Rocketeer expanded), and they haven't been able to do any animation at all - expanded or premiere. I wish all studios made things as easy as Fox does! And Paramount too. It's a shame regarding The Rocketeer. I would love an expanded release as well. -

D'oh! Oh well Hmmm what about Black Rain & Days of Thunder for future releases? These two movies are from Paramount. -

Sorry I meant Crimson Tide. I'd say about 20 minutes. Whoa, thanks Koray. Then someone please bring on an expanded release in the near future. -

I would say Varese might do a club dx ed. for Nemesis. If not this year then hopefully in 2012: 10 anniv of the film. -

Yeah I'm hoping for Willow too. Hey anything is possible. A 2-disc set maybe limited to 3000 units? Just thinking outload. As for the Varese titles, I hope Varese will consider expanding the above mentioned releases. -

I hope noone minds but I found this regarding Young Guns II sdtk http://www.soundtrackcollector.com/catalog/soundtrackdetail.php?movieid=6344 There's only one Silverstri track (short no doubt) on the official album. And if you scroll down there is the ummmm boot... So if not Highlander (hoping it would be) then maybe YG2. On the other hand another Silverstri release would be great too. -
First Knight-it was on a local cable station. What a beautiful score by Mr.Goldsmith. Crossing fingers for an expanded release.

Poledouris: I'm guessing Red October hopefully w/film version tracks and/or maybe Les Misérables. Or (again) an unreleased score Flight of the Intruder Horner: Willow-guilty pleasure (But I can't guess) Williams: Hook would be sweet! Kamen: Die Hard, or maybe LLL hit us w/a right cross-Event Horizon Goldsmith: First Knight (saw the movie on my local cable station) Howard: Hmmm let's see: The Trigger Effect, Flatlingers, Stir of Echoes? David Newman: A lot of unreleased and/or expanded: Hoffa, Firebirds, Coneheads, Other People's Money, The Flintstones. -

There's Red Route I, too. I love that piece. If I may Red Route I cue is slightly longer in the film, and sounds a lot better. I don't know why but the album version of this track and "Kaboom" were edited on the sdtk. -

Scrooged (1988) Danny Elfman. There was only an official song sdtk. Unless you count Danny Elfman: Music for a Darkened Theatre, Film & Television Music, Vol. 1 from MCA Records. "Main Titles" "Show Time At IBC" "Elliot Gives Blood" "Walter Ablaze" "Wild Cab Ride" "Luncheonette" "Asylum" "Crematorium" Total only 8:42 Saw it recently on AMC love the score. And isn't MV an Elfman fan, I think? -

The Hunt for Red October complete score would be absolutely fantastic, but IMO, Poledouris' finest effort is Conan the Barbarian. Hey some of you guys have been reading my mind. I am a huge Poledouris fan and recently purchased Flesh + Blood. I am crossing my fingers for a complete release to Red October next year. Some of the film version tracks are longer and sound better than the original MCA album edit. -
La-La Land Announces Star Trek V (Complete)
shockwave replied to Ollie's topic in General Discussion
I believe in the novel the entity somehow communicated w/Sybok's Mom a Vulcan Priestess, and to young Sybok himself. I no longer have the book but I think the novel started off w/the younger Sybok. Sorry it's been over 20 years. Maybe someone can confirm this. Oh still love the score. -

I hope Intrada will release TMP once all that legal stuff is resolved. Or Trek VI since Dec 2011 will be the 20th anniv. It's time for Intrada to join the ranks to release a Trek score or two. Oh still listening to Trek V. Love it!
