No this was the limited edition 2CD 2049 copies, to which they released a 2nd edition because somehow it devalues the 1st edition then they will probably release the deluxe collectors steel box edition with like a steel box which is the same as every other edition, only it comes in steel I guess?

Not only have they lied but broke a PayPal specific which is not to take money till shipping date. I had to close my PP dispute as it was near the 2nd shipping date and took these guys to respond to my email sent on 2nd Oct It's all very messy and I don't even want this anymore. I will try and recover my dismay by selling it for 20 grand on eBay

Glad I'm not the only one, I grew up with 80's movies and was great fan. Such experimental music too, John Carpenter was obviously a fav, along with Tangerine Dream, Alan Silvestri, Phillip Glass, John Williams and many others. Somehow that 80s movement of electronic B movies drive has been long lost and forgotten You only need to look at Stranger Things to see how important this era had in our culture and it's good to see this comeback or tip of the fedora My own music I make (not great but I love doing it) is 80's heavily influenced and people do remark how JC it is I just get sick of the Shepard's tones Zimmer keeps reusing, yeah we get it, you like to create tension but it gets boring after a while as we get the trick being employed, rather than enjoying the music, it's like a smoke and mirrors parlor trick, fun once after that meh Sorry for wall of text guys, back on topic I watched Get Shorty today, it was good for a predictable Hollywood 90's movie trying to do much with what little it had to offer The music was there and trying to be hip, this was no Pulp Fiction, and in some ways was trying a little too hard, still somewhat entertaining I guess

I sort of resent Zimmer having such a hold on Hollywood scores now, it's same thing over, perfectly attached to all the Hollyweird movies being released I for one don't resent the era I was born, it gave me a great appreciation into composers and music, I can't say this now for the current generation nor do I look forwards to the future of our creative flows I was a child of the 60's, I only really understood what this meant since as I started to listen to other people's music in my class, sure they're young but it's the same generic doof doof horrible DAW processed music Junkie XL I like, I know he collaborated with Zimmer on this movie and some others, when I found this out a little piece of me died inside I'd just like a world where everything isn't just 1 tone of Zimmer Batman kills Superman, what's next Escape from New York reboot, Snake is a woman?

I was luck to see this at an old cinema in 4K digital print, sublime is the word, 2049 holds no candle to it at all

The scene I refer to is where K is followed into his apartment before the 3way, the drums that follow him are very out of place. It's actually an odd choice as I explained before, thinking some action was about to take place. Well it did but I hardly call a virtual sex scene "action".

Blade Runner has heart and soul, the story is not the driving force here, 2049 is soulless on all accounts.

So I went to see this today, meh Cinema was one of the best I could find with Dolby Atmos, it was way too loud and I have a hearing disorder The music is soulless, there is 1 scene where K is walking down the st into his apartment, the music that accompanies this short trip is a typical Zimmer drum rapid fire, but nothing happens, K just walks from the street to his apartment, it is a really bizarre composition that would only suit an action piece Then I was waiting for the Blade Runner track from the OST, the best part of the OST imo is the end credits to my dismay The movie is long boring and tiresome, actually it's not that good to look at compared to the original. I can see why people just don't agree with the movie, and it really doesn't seem like a Blade Runner universe, the acting is well, you just don't care about the characters. To me the movie just seems so one dimensional across the board, story, FX, music, take your pick. Blade Runner had a very basic story, but I felt drawn into the world from the music and FX, 2049, not so much so... I give this, 2 Voigt-Kampff's down

You've not met these kids, you don't understand the amount of disrespect they display in class, hence why I have chosen to continue my studies elsewhere. If someone spoke to you like I was spoken to, I am pretty sure you wouldn't put up with their behavior either, he never wanted to "discuss" he wanted to provoke and argue. Fact he jumped up and started pointing at me wildly in class, then when I cited Wallace as apposed to Wallfisch as composer then to be ridiculed, this wasn't a discussion, it was an attack, which promptly ceased when I said what I had. Danny Elfman did something fantastic with Batman.
