  1. Sail Barge Assault...... it's fantastic. And we have an alternate version of it. That uplifting finale......Yes! I also like the first part of BATTLE OF ENDOR I, Parade of the Ewoks, The Ewok Battle and its concert version, The Forest Battle (the best track in the score).
  2. Oh, yes, Morn, The Hunt from Planet of the Apes, the best track of POTA (PAM! paam paam PAM! paam paam dudadudaduda.......). But I think it's very difficult to play. So you want something powerful..... The Grand Finale from EDWARD SCISSORHANDS MARS ATTACKS! (That Martian March..... The Main Titles) MEN IN BLACK (Main Title) AIR FORCE ONE (Main Theme) DRAGONHEART - every track Convening The Coven (Mychael Nyman) The Gladiator Vallz PEACEMAKER Main Theme THE LORD OF THE RINGS (Leonard Rosenman)-Theoden's Victory and the Main Theme Crazy Tom from the Talented Mr. Ripley ROBOCOP and................Silvestri's DEATH BECOMES HER
  3. The future is clear: First position: PlayStation 2 Second position: Gamecube Third position: Xbox There are over 30 million of PS2 sold around the world. Its promising games: Silent Hill 3, Devil May Cry 2, The Gateway, Final Fantasy XI and XII, Tomb Raider:A.of Darkness, Tekken 4, and in the far future: Metal Gear 3 (not directed by Kojima) and.............Driver 3!!!! XBOX has been a failure in Japan, where the best games are made, and in Europe. Only a (big) success in USA. Games: Unreal Championship, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Dead or Alive 4, Metal Gear 2 Substance, Project Ego, Ninja Gaiden, and probably Shenmue 3. GameCube has been a success in the whole world (not in Japan at first, but everything has changed, with Resident Evil above all). Games: Zelda, Mario Sunshine, Resident Evil 0 and 4, Metroid Prime, Starfox Adventures (which could be the last exclusive game made by Rare for Nintendo.....)
  4. I have to disagree. The Infernal Machine has the same style of Tomb Raider, but Tomb Raider has been influenced by Indiana Jones saga. It's a boomerang effect. A game in 2D can be good, yes, but nowadays the best games are in 3D. Nice graphics don't make a game to be good, yeah, but they improve it. And it's different: a)having good graphics or b)being in 3D. 3D means a different games style. And permits us to explore new game dimensions never seen before. The Videogames world is in a constant evolution, graphical evolution above all. Now we are in a dead point on the playable aspect: companies should be making new and original games. Instead of this, they are creating sequels and more sequels of successful games (Biohazard, Metal Gear, Mario, GTA, GT, DMC, DOA, Tekken, Ridge Racer.................). In a nutshell: we can hardly find original games nowadays. But the reason are not the 3Ds, but the risk that making a game generates.
  5. It's beautiful, but it's not original (actually a copy of the 'Journey to the Line' theme from The Thin Red Line) and very repetitive.
  6. I voted for JAWS. With this music Williams not only does accompany the action sequences, but also CREATES the shark, Bruce the Shark.
  7. He must be impressed, of course, with that masterpiece (no doubt).
  8. Well, click on this http://www.shenmusic.fr.st/ and you will be able to listen to the best videogame score EVER. (I specially recommend: Shenmue-Orchestra Version) scissorhands - hazuki ryota
  9. It's my hero!!!!!! SuperWilliams!!!!! He would say: "Give me back what is morally mine!" Of course, Williams would compose a Superman-like march.
  10. I think the best is JAWS. Its maintitles music has a very important function: connecting the music with the shark. Then the audience knows that everytime the leitmotif sounds the shark is near..... very close........ e f e f e f e f d e e f d e e f
  11. I thought it sounded like chitius. Yeah, it sounds like that. And in Exsultate Justi, "decet collaudatio", the same. But my latin teacher used to say: every "c" must be pronounced with the "k" phoneme.
  12. Setting the Trap. It's funny, I like its rythm and the melody is smashing. scissorhands - whose fourth fav score is......... Home Alone!
  13. I love the pizzicato string sections in John Williams music. They are usually the best part of the track. These are the tracks I remember. If there is any one more, write it. Choose your favorite one.
  14. Yes, it's the best part of the hymn, very powerful and enthusiastic.
  15. Will Enya come back? No, please. What can we do to avoid it? scissorhands - who doesn't like Enya in Far & Away, neither in LOTR, nor her singles.........
  16. scissorhands - who thinks Last Crusade Nazi March will reappear in Indiana Jones 4
  17. I need it!!!!!! That's true. Interesting story, Figo. It's like a soap opera (stepfather, brother in law....), .....but it's OK. I agree: 1941 March is better. scissorhands - who needs the original 1941 soundtrack!!!!
  18. Oh, yes. I like the introduction of those ascending notes in the Raiders March.......notes that are the Short Round's Theme! :wow: scissorhands - celebrating his post N. 50
  19. The first 24 seconds are composed by Williams though. It could have been erased at least the noise of the dancers' steps.
  20. So take more source music: Nicole and At Maxims from How to Steal a Million? And from the same soundtrack also don't seem to be composed by Williams: The Can Can and The Key
