I'm calling it right now: Josh Gad as Lefou.

The thing is, they were preselling the entire collection to D23 members for $270. There's no way they would cancel it halfway through. But the lack of news of Toy Story is alarming all the same.
-
Toy Story should be out in a little over 2 weeks, yet there's still no pre-order up on Amazon.

Interesting. That arrangement of Love Theme from Superman sounded very Superman IV-ish.
-
I've always watched them, and I've mentioned that here many times.
Another Oscar night. Will the downward trend continue? Will Neil Patrick Harris turn things around? Did anyone actually see a nominated movie this year?
It's going to be Birdman, Birdman, Birdman.
Saw all of them. The Best Pic nominees at least. And no, I don't think Birdman will be doing a clean sweep.
That's what the chat room is for! That was for prior discussion. This is for real-time discussion.
Do we still use that?
I've updated Java, fiddled with the security exemptions, tried it Firefox and Safari, and I still can't get into the darned thing.

It makes me think the giant head of Dennis Weaver is going to eat the truck in one bite like he's in a Terry Gilliam cartoon.

And on the same day, the four new titles from the Spielberg boxset (Duel, The Sugarland Express, 1941, & Always) will be released individually.
AND ALSO from Universal that day: Clint Eastwood: The Universal Pictures 7-Movie Collection, including The Eiger Sanction!

Ladyhawke, finally! And with the Struzan art for the cover!
Count this schmuck in as well.

Currently at £12,972—over halfway there!

Somebody should make a design with the actual theme and submit it to one of the unlicensed tee sites.

I'm exited for the POTA series set. Sounds interesting. I missed out on the Intrada release, which went OOP ages ago.

Those covers are such a vivid reminder of the days when poster art was awesome.

Not a Blu-ray, but The Accidental Tourist is back in print on MOD DVD from Warner Archive.

Well, it is more fun.

I want one.

I wonder how long this has been in the works in total secret?

Upping this old thread, as it's the only one I could find on the topic.
I'm not an expert on Highlander, the film or the music. I only own the above mentioned album with selections from those three scores. I do love last tracks from Kamen's score though, and I've been meaning to pick up Queen's A Kind of Magic, which contains the songs the band did for the film, although not all the same versions apparently.
Anyway, I just saw that last week the iTunes Store added deluxe editions from Queen's catalogue. A Kind of Magic includes a "Highlander version" of the titular song, which I presume is the film arrangement. Here's a link (for the US store).
EDIT: Just realized this edition was actually released in 2011 and has been on Amazon for a while. Not quite news after all then.

Along with Titan A.E., I finally ordered Speed and The Golden Child. That 25% off is a heckuva deal.

The link on Bachelor Flat leads to the VOD version—here's the DVD. And Angela's Ashes is back in print on DVD from Warner Archive.
