Damo 0
The final Star Wars film, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, has been given a 12a certificate by the BBFC. The rating means no-one younger than 12 can see the film without an adult, who has to watch the film with them. A warning has also been added by the British Board of Film Classification, saying the film "contains moderate fantasy violence and scary scenes". It's the first time young children have needed an adult to go with them to watch a Star Wars film. http://news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews/hi/newsid_4...200/4498259.stm

Greg1138 3
It's good that the BBFC didn't give it a straight "12" - that really would have been the death nell in the UK (remember Spider-Man?)Some 12A's can be pretty gritty - let's hope this is one of them!!!! mahler3 478
But 12A's mean that children under 12 can be accompanied by an adult so it will probably mean the opposite unfortunately.

The adult must watch the film with the child or children and not just pay for the ticket.
mahler3 478
:? Is that not what I said? An adult is classified as 18 years or over.
