  1. Been waiting for this for 23 years... I admit I shed a tear when I read about this. Hopefully this makes a complete release of ET and CE3K more likely
  2. Not surprised. He's still working on TFA in Los Angeles and as long as he's there he won't be coming to the east coast. I felt really bad when he cancelled his May concerts, but in the end I'm glad I went. Richard Kaufman was a wonderful, energetic conductor and I ended up having a really great time in Boston.
  3. Nope, that's SPACECAMP. Yeah, I can see that. SpaceCamp is pretty meh to be honest. Really? SpaceCamp is one of my favorite Williams scores
  4. I just bought Always on Amazon for 95 cents, lol. I've listened to snippets before, but not the whole album. I like what I've heard so far.
  5. I just learned that Philly is relatively close to Washington D.C., about a 2,5 hour drive? (I'm not that familiar with US topography ). I actually have friends in Washington where I could stay, which brings the cost of a round trip down dramatically. Something to keep in mind. If he skips that concert, I'm just not meant to see him in person.
  6. I've had some time to let the news settle in and discuss it with my wife. We coupled the travel with a trip to NYC, so we might as well just go and at least enjoy the music. Chances are we'll never see Williams in person, but we're not going to let that get in the way of having a good time
  7. Was about to post that... Man, I'm really bummed out by this Could this be the same health issue that caused him to cancel his January performance? I was really hoping to see him this year, it was probably the only chance I'll ever get to see him in person... I'll still go to the concert, as the trip is already paid for and all, but still..
  8. I found this while looking for some more information today: http://groupevents.bostonpops.org/boston-pops#2015-season Scroll down to May 22/May 23. It only seems to be a schedule, not a place to order tickets. Could this be the real thing? Do they usually put up dates before ticket sales begin?
  9. Yeah I'm also eagerly awaiting the date announcement, so I can start booking my flight. My wife and I are both going, first time Boston so we'll make it a trip
  10. Please forgive me for bringing up this older thread. My wife and I would like to attend the Film Night next year, but because we live in Europe we kind of have to book our flights and hotel some time in advance. When do they usually reveal the schedule for the Film Night?
  11. I was there too. Overall I liked it, I thought ET was a mess and some parts were played too fast (Jurassic Park!). But this is the first JW concert I've ever and I'm very happy I went.
  12. The iTunes download is back up. I just purchased it and am loving it so far!
  13. The score is currently unavailable in the US store... so there's no way of purchasing it
