Melange 448 Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 My Reaplayer keeps telling me i need to download new software in order to play them. I go along, but it says i wont connect. I'll try again another time.
Mr. Breathmask 624 Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 My RealPlayer tells me "There is no software update available from RealOne to support this content."
SturgisPodmore 0 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 My Quicktime tells me there's no way in hell I would want to watch that. Hmm. You're good. ~Sturgis
Jamesyboy 4 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 If you ever decide to move from Cloud City to San Diego, we must hook up!Jamesyboy - a drummer looking for good people to jam with.
Marian Schedenig 11,695 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 The annoying thing about Quicktime is that it forces me to install iTunes.Marian - who can watch movs in Linux without installing Quicktime.
Mr. Breathmask 624 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 The annoying thing about Quicktime is that it forces me to install iTunes. No it doesn't.- Marc, who has both anyway.
Marian Schedenig 11,695 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 When I installed it at work, I couldn't find a way to get it without also installing iTunes. When I, weeks later, wanted to listen to those free samples of the new Rolling Stones album, Firefox started up my iTunes, which took ages to start (I thought it had crashed or something) and then told me that the selected track isn't available from the local iTunes store.Marian - who is frequently getting annoyed about Apple these days.
Mr. Breathmask 624 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 You should be able to install it without iTunes, although the download page is a tad confsuning in that respect.
nightscape94 968 Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 I wasn't able to play it via RealPlayer or Quicktime, so... Shame too, I've been playing for 14 years and love to hear it so I can perform some serious animadversion! Tim

As a few people mention here, you should be able to install Quicktime without having to install iTunes on Windows. although the download page is a tad confsuning in that respect. To avoid downloading "Quicktime with iTunes" probably the best to download the standalone Quicktime player click here
