  1. Wow!!, that is shocking and hysterical LOL Actually shocking is a quotation from the CD description: "This special CD was sent only to select members of the Hollywood community for awards consideration. It's in MINT condition and has never been used."
  2. "The White Tree" from TLOTR - The Return Of The King
  3. Well, IMHO, Jon Stewart wasn't so bad. Some jokes were of course a little bit tame, but he was surely better than Chris Rock last year. Still it's quite hard to top Billy Crystal. I still can't forget the great opening short for the Oscars in 2004.
  4. Actually nobody says he's a bad guy. He may be a nice person, yes, but his music is not worthy of an Oscar. It was a wrong decision by the Academy, I think intended. The quality of music was of no importance here.
  5. Well, if you think of Jan A.P. Kaczmarek who got an Oscar last year (in this case you could at least call it score), he has no new projects, as far as I know. So an Oscar doesn't automatically mean that you will get countless offers for scoring.
  6. Hi, everybody! Though I'm new at the forum, I'm a big JW fan since many years. After this ridiculous and disgusting Oscar night I had lost my last faith in the Academy. Not only this uninspired crap score for Brokeback Mountain wins against melodical, bright and at the same time so passionate Geisha, but they also call this piece of sh** from Hustle and Flow best song of the year!!! The same applies to many other Awards this night and in the recent years. At the Oscars the art of film making doesn't mean anything more, there are just politics and political correctness. I'm so disappointed!
