  1. Indeed, we thought Ross recorded the Suite ending for the OST at the COS sessions but it hasn't been recorded before. Guess we'll find out.
  2. 9 3/4 has the best part missing: the reveal of the Hogwarts Express. Entering the Great Hall is absolutely not present on the OST, the track is named Entering the Great hall and the Banquet but it's actually only The Banquet. Checkmate is not on the OST, the track The Chess game is just the middle cue, it stops when Ron falls and also lacks the big chessboard reveal. When you know the omplete score, the OST is incredibly jarring - it feels rushed and jumps over some of the best parts, leaving cues feeling unresolved.
  3. Oh dear, you guys never heard Platform 9 3/4, Entering the Great Hall or Checkmate outside of the film! These scores are overflowing with unreleased goodness!
  4. It should be stuck to the end of Moving Stairs, that's where it belongs. 7m5 Petrified Longbottom or now Neville Stiffens is some dark rumbles and a reprise of It's Guarding Something in the film, we don't now what the original is - guess we'll find out now!
  5. Or Petrified Longbottom which was not leaked and we thought so far was tracked!
  6. Having listened for years to the sessions in chrono order and knowing or caring how it goes in the movie (aka how it was meant to be, how it was written to be), it can be extremely jarring if the order on an expensive set you just bought (and cannot change on the CD) is "wrong". Stuff like The Library being before Transformation Class probably won't make me want to destroy the discs, though.
  7. Just asking once more here to be sure: Would any trustworthy regulars with an EU address where mail packages aren't sat on for weeks if not stolen be OK with getting two HP sets and sending one to me? We'd talk the material side over.
  8. It's not like this cover took much effort at all, but that's the thing about the LLL-Matessino-Titus trio - they're taking all these tiny extra steps toward perfection most people (even those in the business) wouldn't even think of, and it really adds up.
  9. I think the price is more than justified for what's in the set - whether I personally like spending that amount in one go on one thing is different.
  10. So there's still a chance other stores could get stock in December if there's less immediate orders than the first batch due to for example the high price?
  11. To clarify: I first and foremost hold the publisher's idea to rename a preexisting object stupid, not preferring what one has come to know first or grew up with.
  12. Yes, it's the exact same! Illogical stupidity vs. working, normal, real one!
  13. Well, reddit says I should ask LLL to ship it with anyone but USPS because our local mail/customs steal like hell. How much coercing would it take for LLL to send mine with UPS or FedEx?
  14. Entering the Chamber is audibly new with a swirling string line and woodwinds, at least until the point where it goes big. I know, that's why I asked! I guess I'll have to wait. I put in a question to our local subreddit asking about experiences with customs this time of year, I'll decide until Tuesday whether to go for it.
  15. @Jay, when you wrote the Azkaban set has every second of score that's in the movie, did you phrase it that way to exclude Hot Licourice only, or some source bits like the shawm, too? We actually believed Parselmouth and Dormitory to have been tracked so far! Entering the Chamber is marked as tracked in the cue list: http://www.jwfan.com/?p=3578
  16. Oh the post that actually delivers to my house is great! It's how long it'll sit in Budapest, what they'll do to it and how much I'll have to pay for it that's the problem. Oh I'll redo the tracked cues from flac rips of these and share them for sure if anyone wants them.
  17. Two Towers EE Appendices from 2003, talking about the London Oratory Boys Choir: They sung in a lot of scores, they sung for Harry Potter the week before. Huh? Two Towers was recorded in late 2002, where's the boy's choir in Chamber of Secrets? I can only think of the Hogwarts reveal in Flying Car but isn't that female choir like in the first one?
  18. Yes, that's the main point why we consider it actual stupidity instead of general weirdness I think.
