  1. They're not continuing with Amazon Music exclusive release, because apparently it with S1 it didn't make people subscibe to it. So it's all releasing now on all platforms. Why only episode 2 is now on there probably has something to do with the servers or whatever.
  2. Only episode 2 is available. And only on Qobuz https://www.qobuz.com/nz-en/album/the-lord-of-the-rings-the-rings-of-power-season-two-episode-two-where-the-stars-are-strange-amazon-original-series-soundtrack-bear-mccreary/c0ej8xiinu4sb
  3. I've looked back at the way things released with S1 and I'm 100% sure the albums will come out when the episodes air! And like Knight Of Ren says, there are themes that barely have any play time on the Season album, but based on the importance of their characters, it's almost impossible that there won't be much more usage of themes like Nori's, Durin's & Khazad-Dum's, Southlands theme etc. And I can't wait!!!
  4. Oh yeah, I see about the page, I hope people go back. S1 episodes indeed dropped earlier, so they were usually available on Fridays if I remember correctly (or that's just me, because I'm in Europe). It would be great to have them release on Thursdays now.
  5. Yeah, I really love the forging theme and your breakdown is fantastic! On another note, I read in an interview with the showrunners and based on the things they said about the battle of Eregion, the 11 minute track on the album is like 20% of the entire music that will accompany it. The battle will take place over the span of 3 episodes. Which I think is pretty cool. Which means there's plenty of music to come!!!! Only 2 days (or 3 if the albums release on Friday) till more music. 6. Only Murders In The Building: Season 4 - Episode 1 x Once Upon A Time In The West Really great opening episode I thought. I was happy they adressed some moments ftom Season 3, to sort of bridge the gap. And it's just so nice to be in the company of these characters again. Thought all the stuff in Hollywood was really great. Molly Shannon, Eva Longoria, Eugene Levy & Zach Galifianakis were all funny. Liked how Mabel didn't just agree but took a bit of time to decide. I'm pretty sure Oliver was almost proposing to Loretta, which I hope happens, they're a great couple. Then the whole thing with Sazz is becoming a really great set up for tge rest of tge season. The final few moments of the episode were fantastic. I loved how the dog came in to play, as were Saz' photos of her broken bones. Seeing Charles hold the replacements, because they didn't burn away, then looking up and Oliver & Mabel was really really sad. He looked so helpless. Great perfomance by Steve Martin. Cool to see that the killer this times feels like a real threat and that it has become very personal now. Ups the stakes in a way I really enjoy. Looking forward to the rest of the season. Oh, and I thought it was great that at the party the pianist was the composer of the show, Siddhartha Khosla.
  7. Trailer for the Christopher Reeve documentary
  8. True, but then it's even worse that it flopping, because no one has any interest in it
  9. And in the meantime the original has become a cult classic and many people were pretty pissed when they remade it.
  10. I was thinking that as well earlier today, and saw someone else on twitter notice it too. Would be really cool if it's true. We'll have to wait till a blog post I think.
  11. Braveheart First time seeing it. I know that there is quite a lot of stuff that is historically wrong, but I don't really care when a film is this good. Absolutely loved it. 3 hours flew by I thought. And James Horner's score somehow becomes even better after seeing the film.
  12. I was talking about the films that are going to come out. So not sure what you're going on about now. I am saying nothing about the original films. I adore those films, some of the best I've ever seen. And I'm hoping for everyone that the upcoming films are something people who don't like RoP can enjoy. And I'm not here to start an argument about what's better. We can all agree that the OG films will always be better than anything else based on Tolkien's words. I was merely saying that I enjoy RoP for what it is, and I'm aware that some here and in other places don't, which is of course fine. I just don't get the infinite bashing of it on here, what are you hoping to accomplish with that?
  13. Does it really matter if they are? This way there will be different things for people to enjoy. I know some of you here don't enjoy RoP, which is fine, but there are plenty of people out there that do, myself included. So I sort of hope for you guys, that the films being made at New Line will be good.
  14. What does HBO have to do with this? The series is from Amazon Prime Video.
  15. Well, their "dead". So if they were to return, I didn't expect the theme to appear on this album.
  16. Does anyone know what the theme at 1:35 in Army Of Orcs is? Could it maybe be a heroic rendition of either Erigion or Gil-Galad's theme? I'm having a hard time recognizing it.
  17. I'm not sure what it is or why exactly, but Old Tom Bombadil makes me weirdly emotional. It's just triggers something in me. Maybe it's because my dad would've also really liked this song. He didn't really listen to film music, only when I was, but he always liked these folksy kind of songs and it just makes me feel really close to him somehow.
  18. That vinyl cover is really cool. And I think I'm hearing another cue than you guys because The Sun Yet Shines to me has that epic feel. It's maybe not overtly heroic, but I feel it's a strong ending. Especially those final four notes over the crescendo at the end.
