  1. Efectively. The only Longest Day I know and have seen is the black and white one. There is no more.
  2. I don't like Grim Fandango soundtrack, I prefer the caribean rythms of Monkey. About Rogue Squadron, now it's very cheap, as many games of LucasArts. It shouldn't cost more than 15 euros.
  3. If there is not Raiders..... Fan Fare and March To The Museum from "How To Steal A Million?"
  4. I love Aeris' theme. (I think that's the name) scissorhands - who can't wait anymore: Resident Evil Remake. I want it right now!
  5. Myst? I don't know which game it is. Is it a game? Is it a bird? .... scissorhands - who is going to buy soon a GameCube
  6. I knew you would say that, IndySolo. Another factor: in source music you can see where the music is coming from, but in musicals music appears suddenly. You don't know where the orchestra is.
  7. So the Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack is source music....... Interesting........ :wow:
  8. I totally agree, though I prefer FFVI (FF3 in the USA) I particularly (how in the world do we write this word ? i never knew... *sigh*) love the orchestral recording that were made of videogame soundtracks... I have played FFVI recently (FF6 in PAL regions), and I also like it. With the limitations of SNES, Uematsu wrote such a memorable score...
  9. And Michael Giacchino's Medal of Honor, Nobuo Uematsu's Final Fantasy (I specially like FFVII), Harry Gregson Williams' Metal Gear Solid 2, Shenmue (many composers), Zelda:Ocarina of Time, Akira Yamaoke's Silent Hill 1&2......... They are great.
  10. But you can't deny that American Beauty and Erin Brockovich have the SAME music. He surely photocopied the sheet music.
  11. Thomas Newman? Oh, no! His music is simply unbearable!
  12. If I'm not wrong Williams likes Elgar. However, his favourite film composer is Bernard Herrmann, and if he has to choose amongst the living composers, his fav would be Jerry Goldsmith. This is what he said in an interview.
  13. Ha, ha, ha. And Perfect Murder is in color too! LOL
  14. That would be Batman You are writing too much in absolute terms, Ricard. Calm down. Batman is a good score, yes, also Nightmare..., Beetlejuice, etc. But it's not as complex as Edward Scissorhands. I even prefer Batman Returns rather than the first Batman. There is something lacking in that score that doesn't let it get the perfection. A perfection that Scissorhands has in every sense. (Now I am the one who writes in absolute terms).
  15. Zam the Assassin and The Chase Through Coruscant. A lot of tracks from Sleepers. The River Main Theme
  16. banghead WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT???????????? Edward Scissorhands simple??????? It has many great themes, the use of children chorus is superb, The Introduction music is simply perfect, and the Grand Finale..... Death! track is so emotive and Edwardo the Barber and The Cookie Factory are such vigorous compositions! It's Elfman's best score UNDOUBTEDLY. Simple? Not great? ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. &%*censored%$&
  17. But it doesn't contribute anything to the film. It's only an ornamental sequence.
  18. And despite his consecutive fiascos (The Sixth Day, Collateral Damage, etc.)?
  19. I don't mind wether it's cheap or expensive. I also wanna have it!!!!
