    Sounds like nothing spectacular will be coming out next month. Though I could be wrong. Pity about the comic con titles. I was hoping they'd release B:TAS Vol. 3 next month to commemorate that event. I was even putting money aside for that one.

    I agree about the sites new look. But I noticed on the OOP section that Silvestri's Eraser sold out. I don't remember LLLR ever warning about a low quantity alert unless I missed it.

    In honor of Batman '89' 25th anniversary today. From my iPod Just the complete score and alternates from the LLL set as well as the album mixes of certain cues from 1989 OST. I also included the worktapes/demos and the full version of "Joker Flies To Gotham" from the Elfman/Burton Box. I know the Prince soundtrack isn't a score, but still. Elfman did adapt the theme from "Scandalous" into the love theme.

    Corpse Bride - "Remains Of The Day" alone would be enough for me to be the favorite of Elfman's animated output on the poll. Meet The Robinsons - Is my least favorite of Elfman's animated scores. Frankenweenie (2012) - Easily the most fun of the six Elfman scores from 2012, imho. Mr. Peabody And Sherman - Have yet to hear this score and watch movie.

    I enjoy all the scores, but my least favorite is Young's S-M3. His approach didn't blend well with Elfman's first two scores, imo. And I never felt Horner mimicked Zimmer's style for TAS-M

    I still need to pick up Hugo. Soundtrack budget and some of the limited older score expansions prevent me from ordering it though.

    Mac & Me should've been 2000 units. Even though I would love to own it b/c it is early Silvestri but I won't lose sleep if I miss out on it. I have a feeling some other label might get a hold of it in the future anyway.

    I assumed he would as well, but does Zimmer ever say "no" to anything. Musically this genre is becoming over saturated with Zimmer. I wonder if he'll return for TAS-M 3 since that's suppose to come out the same year also.

    Great two more scores to add on long list of scores I'd like to own. Sometime down the road I plan on ordering The Unknown Known (once I see the film that is) and Dennis The Menace. Speaking of Goldsmith I still need to get Sum Of All Fears and Psycho II. Never seen Blue Max but heard great things about the score. I guess the record labels these past few months can't get enough of that Goldsmith and neither can I.

    I had to make sure this wasn't an April Fools joke, but it looks like it isn't BS. It still feels unreal that this is getting a complete release the way some hail it as a grail. I guess Intrada held off announcing it last week so nobody would suspect it being an April Fools prank. I'll add this to the list of a long list scores (re-issues, expansions, C&C's) I want to purchase but can't at the moment.

    I guess they filmed the "It's On Again" music video with Zimmer, Alicia Keys and Pharrell Williams last Tuesday. http://uinterview.com/news/alicia-keys-pharrell-williams-and-hans-zimmer-film-its-on-again-music-video-10947 I guess Zimmer decided to dress up as Alfred for the video.

    Don't recall ever seeing this movie. Though I've seen bits of it when I was younger. Might have to check it out before ordering the soundtrack. And I'm an admirer of some of Broughton's scores. I've heard nothing but praise for his Young Sherlock Holmes. And good to know this will be unlimited, b/c I'm not going to be able to jump on this soon. Heck I still haven't been able to get my hands on Intrada's own Conan The Barbarian. Though if both were limited I probably would've in a heartbeat.

    I'm not a fan of Jackman by any means, but I'm hoping he comes up with a good score at least. B/c I'm very much looking forward to the film itself. It sucks that he wont use the Silvestri theme for crucial scenes. I doubt he'll come up with anything that can rival Silvestri's either. IMO Silvestri's CA March was one of the better superhero themes of this decade and the last. It was far from generic and predictable unlike some of the current superhero themes & scores.

    Yeah that cover doesn't look very appealing at all.And I couldn't help but roll my eyes at "The Magnificent Six" part. Really Hans? With that said I'm still curious about this score. I've been avoiding the clips being released of the film. I'll wait to see and hear how the score works in the context of the movie.

    Alicia Keys, Kendrick Lamar Team for 'It's On Again' on 'Spider-Man 2' Soundtrack http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/5930428/alicia-keys-kendrick-lamar-team-for-its-on-again-on-spider-man-2-soundtrack I guessing this is mostly a song album with a few score tracks. I wonder how many songs will be used in the actual film. I 'd have been fine with only the one song "It's On Again" since it was written for this film. Oh well.

    Well The Matrix is the best of the three but the LLL release for Revolutions is great! It's a pity that Varèse didn't do a proper release for The Matrix... Naturally, The Matrix would be the best as it set up a lot of the motifs used in the other two films. I always thought it a good idea that Don Davis reprised his unused ending of 'He is the One Alright' in Revolutions, though.Shame Varese wouldn't let go of The Matrix. It would have been interesting to see how LLL would have done it, and we would have at least had all the music used in the film. I bet the track titles wouldn't be as corny as the Deluxe Edition either. I'd be surprised if it was actually from Davis' cue sheet. Back to Revolutions I appreciate the feedback on it's expanded release since it won't be an instant purchase for me.

    Count me in as one of those who enjoyed LLLR expanded First Knight. It brings a lot to whatever was lacking in the film too. It has it's fair share of themes (King Arthur, Lancelot, Guinevere, Malagant , I think even the settings Camelot and Leonesse even have one as well). It's a fun 90s swashbuckling adventure score, which never loses it's appeal after repeated listens, imo. Probably one of my favorites from Goldsmith in the 90s.

    Both Creepshow and Sum Of All Fears are indeed must haves even though I never owned the original releases, but won't be instant buys or orders from me b/c of a long list of cd releases I have yet (but am trying) to purchase. So hopefully it won't sell out quicktly. I'm glad LLLR is giving everyone a monthly heads up on their releases. Instead of every two weeks, which wasn't bad to begin with.

    I saw it a few times when I was a kid myself. The music during the alley chase ("Alley Flight") as well as the scene itself really resonated with me at that age. Goldsmith is on full synth mode here so if you'e not a fan of him in that approach. Then this might not be for you. I never really disliked his synth heavy scores. I admire the passion he puts into most of his music be it orchestral, electronic, or both. And Runaway is no exception, imo.

    Sorry for the late response. Bottom line: I thought the EFLA score was great and a lot of fun. It isn't as bleak or grim as the EFNY score was (which I also enjoyed) b/c it's a score to a hokey movie. It also has a nice blend of synthetic and orchestral music. The synth driven tracks by Walker skillfully merges with Carpenter's overall soundscape. The heroic theme/motif she gave Snake(which can be heard in "Submarine Launch", "Hang Glider Attack", "Helicopter Arrival", "Fire Fight") is a highlight as well. IMO this is up there with some of the best sci-fi action scores in the 90s. Recommended to both Walker and Carpenter fans.
