Four and a quarter stars for Deep Space Nine, kid! Very highly rated 90's sci-fi/drama. Quality tv!
That's three quarters of a star less than BABYLON 5.

ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE is good, but IF LEAVING ME IS EASY, and WHY CAN IT WAIT 'TILL MORNING? are both better. Collinc can still hear, but he can't play the drums, anymore.

He's doing some dates in the UK, this Summer. I guess there'll be a DVD, at some point.
Nice avatar, btw.

Very different. Generation X was a pseudo punk band, with Billy Idol, and Brand X is a jazz-rock band, with Phil Collins on drums, as a former member.

Generation X.
Great band. KING ROCKER is a good song.

Agreed. It smacks of cash-in mentality. It's a bit like putting two extra tracks on a pop band's greatest hits CD. As cash-in CDs go, though...it could be worse, John

Was anyone at JG's 70th birthday concert, at the Barbican, in 1999? His remark about sweet wrappers was fun!

Is anybody planning to go to the Pink Floyd exhibition, at the V+A?

A baby boomer is someone who was born in between 1946, and 1964.

Glad to hear I'm baffling. Having sweeping convinctions runs in the family.
Looking back, it's so bizarre.
It runs in the family, all the things we are.

I have been flicking through the 3rd CD. Bes, are you sure that you hear static, at 50 secs? To me, it sounds like clipping. I'll admit that it is a little off-putting, but it doesn't prevent my enjoyment of the CD. In fact, I think that it's, generally, well-played, and well-engineered. It's mastered "loud", but not too loud (no loudness wars, here).
All 'n' all: not bad.

UNDER THE SKIN is the most "human" film that I have watched , for some time.

Great. Feel free to merge or whatever.
Do you think we can merge with memory...Bit?

The British Empire nicely did away with them.

Does anyone know what sheet music is in the picture on the last inside page of the booklet, and when the photograph was taken?
From the picture of JW, my guess would be circa SUPERMAN.
-
Of course it is! Even in 1984, it was a very un-p.c. film, but...it's still a lot of fun to watch.

Nice stuff! It's perfect "The-British-have-arrived-just-in-time" music.

You've hit the nail on, Inky; it is a step outside most fans' comfort zone. I do not own any boots, so I can only judge the score by its OST, and by what I hear in the film, and what I hear, I like.
Btw, is the little descending woodwind motif heard as the cruiser emerges from the clouds, on Courascant, as it flies over the camera, also heard on Hoth? It just sounds so dammed familiar!
-
You know what, Inky, despite its (many) faults, Ep II is still a decent score.

Although I have a soft spot for INSIDE OUT, JCofM might just be Cappuccino's best work for the silver screen.

Probably, and "no". Modern cinema is fucked.

Modern cinema is so ass-fucked, that if you looked at the back of its mouth, you'd see Mickey Mouse's prick.

Great main theme. Pretty sure I've never listened to the full OST though.
You should. APPROACHING THE SUMMIT is really good.
The track 7YIT is all over Classic FM.

Love it! I've got that Blu ray, and very nice it is, too.

If that track was any cooler, it would be a block of ice!
