The playful new score by Danny Elfman...has been out and the film opens today....so let the grading begin!

I'm not voting until I see the movie, but on album alone, I'd give this baby a solid B+.

I give it an A...a lovely, magical, upbeat score. Elfman's been on a roll these past couple years!

It's a very weak score, in my opinion. Messy orchestration, clashing timbres throughout, and very weak harmonies and harmonic progressions make it hard to listen to for me. It has a few nice moments, but most of it seems to be just generic Elfman that I've heard so many times before.

Not a bad score but it sounds too much like Corpse Bride and Big Fish, also it's a bit repetitive.
