TownerFan 4,983
Wonderful program! I recommend to anyone in that area to book a ticket and see the concert--the CSO is a wonderful orchestra and Williams is really fond of them.EDIT: I didn't see the ticket prices, it appears to be a very expensive fund-raising gala. Mari 279
Hi Maurizio EDIT: I didn't see the ticket prices, it appears to be a very expensive fund-raising gala. I saw those prices! The $1,000 - $16,000 corporate packages are a bit too high for my budget. The concert-only tickets announced today are in the much more reasonable $75-$100 range though. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend but wanted to share the info with other JW Fans who may be interested.
mrbellamy 6,287
Isn't the Maestro due to come to Chicago this fall, as well? Hopefully he will, as I won't be able to attend this one

Thor 7,506
Tomorrow (May 17) is Norway's national day. What a great day to hold a Williams concert!
DU Lou 1
He still has it!!!More to follow later, but I just wanted to answer the one question that always get asked lately.J Dubbs was youthful and vigorous and had a really good time tonight. He and Yo Yo Ma were on point. There was no intermission so he conducted non stop for about 90 minutes. The program was awesome as per usual. And on that note I am going to bed. Early flight tomorrow...
