Bespin 8,484
I bought a new 32 Gb card only for my John Williams collection!
ymenard 54
All this is irrelevant (and very dangerous) if you don't have a backup physically at a different place than that.
Bespin 8,484
Well it's nicer to buy another card when you have no more place, than downsizing your library! Those cards are only for my mp3 player.Obviously, all this stuff is on CD and also on my computer hard-drive. ymenard 54
Your backup should be physically elsewhere than at your home!

Wojo 2,453
A well organized mp3 collection represents a huge expenditure of time spent meticulously ripping, downloading, tagging, and sorting. Even if you let iTunes do everything, that's still a lot of disc swapping. I know I wouldn't want to wake up with my entire digital collection gone even if all the CDs were ready to be reripped. But hey, it's only mp3, some folks get off on that hands on busy work.
