Morlock 11
Anyone have any quotes, comments, or clips where Oliver Stone talks about JW? All I've seen is a small little quote on the JW greatest hits CD and 3 comments on the JFK commentary. Anyone have anything else?
Adam 1
Nothing too revealing that I'm remembering. BOFJ, he talked about the romantic aspect, the way Williams nailed the scene where Kovic returns home and sees his mother, stuff like that.Nixon, he's talked about the way he was able to represent the dark aspect of Nixon's persona. Compared it to Mahler's writing I think.I'd be interested to seem him interviewed more in depth.- Adam
thx99 1,740
Anyone have any quotes, comments, or clips where Oliver Stone talks about JW?There is a 2-CD titled "The Oliver Stone Connection" on which Stone talks about Williams several times, including a bit about how Williams had pretty much completed the score for JFK by the time the film was ready to edit!http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00...5795538-0508941Stone also discusses his experiences with Kitaro (HEAVEN AND EARTH), Morricone (U-TURN), Delerue (SALVADOR and PLATOON), and film composers in general. Josh500 1,615
I think there's an interview with Stone regarding JW on the Enhanced CD of the Nixon-soundtrack. I'm not sure whether it always works, though.
