Romão 2,277
I just read this:http://filmforce.ign.com/articles/366/366339p1.htmlThis movie was a almost sure colaboration between John Williams and Tim Morrison.
JoeinAR 1,950
Over at Spielbergfilms.com, Steve A. doesn't seem to put much credibility in this. I hope he is right.Sounds like boxoffice poison. Not a film that I would be itching to see.
Figo 2
Hanks wouldn't be any more an unlikely choice than Henry Fonda, and he did all right by him, in Young Mr. Lincoln. Still, if Hanks were to play the mature Abe, complete with 19th century-style guaranteed-babe-magnet-without-the-mustache beard, at the very least it would be his funniest role since Philadelphia.Whatever happened to Raymond Massey, anyway? Or that guy who played him in Bill and Ted? LOL
Rogue_Leader 2
Whoever greenlighted this movie needs a bullet hole in his head deeper than Lincoln's. What the hell will they think of next? Wait I don't want to know!
Morn 8
Isn't it supposed to be some revision thing? What exactly are they revising?
Figo 2
Abe Lincoln is a boozing whoremaster. In the most gratuitous scene, he and Ulysses Grant take two sets of twins in the Oval Office, while Teresa Carreno plays Listen to the Mockingbird (Lincoln's favorite song) at the piano. Randy Quaid stars as Grant.Figo, who thinks if this movie gets made we definitely need an Abe Lincoln emoticon.
Romão 2,277
What's so wrong about a Lincon biopic? I'm not even american, but that's a movie I would like to see, specially with Spielberg directing.
Figo 2
I would love to see a movie about Lincoln, but not with Hanks.Oh well, he's a better choice than Michael Keaton.

JoeinAR 1,950
After Lincoln, Spielberg will do Elanor Roosevelt and Women in Sensible Shoes. He can explore themes he didn't dare in the Color Purple.

JoeinAR 1,950
Here is a sneak peak of a portion of the script. In the Oval Office, Winston Churchill and Franklin.Franklin, now that you are confined to the damned chair, why do you insist on keeping those canes. Its not me Winston, Eleanor absolutely will not allow me to get rid of them.Rosie O. may play the younger E. while Kathy Bates is in talks to play the older E.Joe
