  1. King Mark; when I read your post it was as though you were writing my own thoughts (save The Patriot). We are true JW fans around here! Too bad we have to compete for it. And incanus; I agree with you 100%
  2. No comments please, but please vote (only once!). And every member out there, active or silent lurker, please participate. Thanks
  3. EPISODE III CAME OUT HALF A YEAR AGO!!! Get over it!
  4. What like 5 minutes? I stopped taking your post serious after this.
  5. It's all part of my masterplan, but I'm only telling you that so keep it silent ok?
  6. It was. What kind of fans are you guys anyway?
  7. ???? You must have posted the wrong pic man!
  8. Examples? I really enjoy Williams' post 2000 output.

  10. Well not the ultimate plot-twist perse, but the ultimate plot-twist with taste AKA in a more serious production. Very different from the plot-twists were so familiar with (Se7en, Saw, etc.)
  11. I for one would like Williams to score another disaster film. Wondering how different he would score it nowadays. Ofcourse this would be a remake of a film he already did, but I think that would make it particulary interesting.
  12. Klaus Badelt is set to score to remake of this 70's disaster film, but wouldn't it be cool if Williams would get the assignment?
  13. The Human Stain (the ultimate plot-twist with taste) Now THAT'S a good film
  14. There is another film composer out there called John Williams (obviously NOT refering to the guitarist!) He scored a (TV?) film called Emma's War. Anyone know anything about him?
  15. To be honest; I have no clue. Perhaps it's too early to start speculating, since information on the film has been sparse. I'm hoping Williams will write some sort of elegy. I'm just hoping for a beautiful score. Although WOTW is starting to grow on me; please something with a little more thematic backbone this time.
  16. Some long film music cues have like 2 minutes of music that shines and 8 minutes that makes you wonder why they release soundtracks at all. Or something like that. But what long (let's say longer than 7 minutes) tracks do you REALLY enjoy from the first second to the last? For me: Adventures On Earth (Williams) 15 + The Legend Of The Pianist (Morricone) 8 + End Credits from Braveheart (Horner) 7 + Seven Years In Tibet (Williams) 7 + And many more.
  17. Batman and Robin; the only time I REALLY wished time-travel would exists so that I could go back and safe myself from the WORST movie-experience in my life!
  18. This thread makes me wonder by the way: what ever happened to ocelet? I miss his comments!
  19. After Goldsmith and Horner it's Williams time to recieve expanded reviews from Christian Clemmensen over at www.filmtracks.com of older scores. First up: Rosewood. I appreciate his effort to add reviews (albeit from older productions) to his site on almost a daily basis. I miss his reviews for newer films though.
  20. 1. Sayuri's Theme (1:31) 2. The Journey to the Hanamachi (4:06) 3. Going to School (2:42) 4. Brush on Silk (2:31) 5. Chiyo's Prayer (3:36) 6. Becoming a Geisha (4:52) 7. Finding Satu (3:44) 8. The Chairman's Waltz (2:39) 9. The Rooftops of the Hanamachi (3:49) 10. The Garden Meeting (2:44) 11. Dr. Crab's Prize (2:18) 12. Destiny's Path (3:20) 13. A New Name... A New Life (3:33) 14. They seem a little short... At least we don't a complete "first track=last track" thing.
