  1. First tell us who is John Willimas?
  2. John Williams Rules! But the Brahms violin concerto is one of the most sumptuous, gorgeous pieces of music ever written.
  3. Kradia, We're talking about a boot here, not an official 2-cd release from WB. I don't think anyone ever really thought THAT would be possible.
  4. Oops, Figo, I left out the bit about the mysterious charges for pizza and rolling papers... hope you don't mind
  5. I have the Clarinet concerto on cd from mp3.com. Sound quality is good (not excellent). Ordering from the site is no problem.
  6. I just acquired two interesting discs released by the BBC in its "Listen to the Band" collection. The disc "Brass Spectacular" opens with a nice arrangement of the Liberty Fanfare (followed by a spectacular short work by Bruce Broughton called Harlequin), and the disc "Reflections for Brass" includes an arrangement of "Can you Read my Mind." Does anyone know of any similar recordings? Two years ago I heard a terrific brass arrangement of the Olympic Fanfare and Theme, and would love to find a recording.
