  1. what is your least favorite JW track? first we are going to start with Indiana Jones my least favorite is.... Water!
  2. Fast streets of Shanghai baby! to me its alot like Desert Chase withought the "HB"
  3. well there is Bad, Fair, Good, Better, Excellent, Super, Awesome, Perfect, and Epic Desert Chase starts out Excellent then becomes super when the raiders march starts, then becomes awesome when it first starts to play the nazi theme, then Perfect when the "Hearbeat Rythem" kicks in then becomes Epic when the Raiders March finally overcomes the "HB" and plays in all its B Theme glory (or is it the A Theme? lol i just noticed A Theme - A Team)
  4. i think it has been derived from the second LEGO Indy and Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings game but im not sure....
  5. emotion is the key i think in whether a cue is good enough, four examples: #1 Desert Chase: it may start out rather uninteresting but once the first mentions of the RM and the Nazi Motif it kicks into high gear then the "Heartbeat Rythem" comes into play filling you (or atleast me) with a sense of suspense making you wonder if this is the end for our hero #2 Crusade of The Slave Children: this one fills you (or me...again) with a sense of pride/hope #3 The Temple of Doom/Sanskrit Sacrifice: While not nessecarily an action cue this one fills you with a sense of horror. (and is far superior to DOTF and even BOTH or atleast it is to me) #4 Flight to Peru: everything
  6. The main action cues in all 4 movies are abundantly clear: RotLA: Desert Chase ToD: The Bridge Battle/British Relief LC: Belly of the Steel Beast/On the Tank KotCS: The Jungle Chase For convenience's sake, I consider every other action cue "secondary," and out of these I picked 2 from each movie which I personally like best. corrected (thats what i consider the main action cue tho mine car chase is close)
  7. i usually listen to JW's scores every night, then in the day i listen to my fan edits using JW's scores though somed=times i will take a break and listen to some HS
  8. 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsuoV7W0KsQ a video i forgot to post, its "The Meadow Picnic Rescored"
  9. i like the version of the raiders march thats comes right before the OST portion starts
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StlASB6034M this is your version mixed in with GM's version as you can see his version has animal noises while yours does not
  11. looking at that site there i noticed that the clip of the beggining of "The Child Returns" is cleaner than the version on GM's set, has this been recently released or something? Lego Indy 2?
  12. is the rejected version included on GoodMusicians set?
  13. what is the motif that plays in the begginning of The Scroll? it also plays in Indy and The Villagers i believe, is it a motif for the Sankara Stones?
  14. but you got to admit that some of them sound pretty darn good! such as: Chase Through Coruscant RESCORED, The ending of Podrace RESCORED, Order 66 RESCORED, and The Phantom Menace VS. The Jedi RESCORED Ft. Anakin VS. Obi-Wan.
  15. Willie's Theme..... oh wait its not on the list..... al right um.... Han Solo and The Princess
  16. ive compared them both and it seems its pretty much in chronological order but a bit of editing would have to be done to have it in full chronological order
  17. does anyone know where i can find scans of the liner notes for STAR WARS [A NEW HOPE]? i used to have them with my copy of ANH but i lost the case ;(
  18. thanks! i was kind of thinking it might be a small motif for marcus or something
  19. is Chicken Run in chronological order? or no?
  20. i have a quick question, what is the motif that plays at the very end of On The Tank? right before the fade out? i think its also played in Marcus In Iskendrun also but im not sure BUT I do know that it appears more than once
  21. audition leaves the bass in there unlike the center pan remover for audacity with that you have to use a high/low pass filter first
  22. 1 i took the WAV of the track/s and used auditions Center Channel Extractor and used the setting vocals removed/vocal remover/vocals removed and Wala! all thats left is to take the edited portion and blend it into the original cue and you have bag end Vocal-less for some tracks it works good (i.e. the green dragon) for others it doesnt (i.e. the houses of healing) i have a preview of the track, its not super quality because i took it from a 320kbps MP3 instead of WAV like i should have: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdEhrqmYbfA i also have the ROTK trailer music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lR4udISH2fQ
  23. well i used to use audacity to take voices out i first used it on Ambush the first episode of the clone wars season 1 but it was a mp3 rip of an edit of the episode that i did, when i ripped a wav of the original later it came out much much smoother, now recently i used it on two LOTR:CR cues, Bag End to take out gandalfs song, and Keep it Secret Keep it safe (or whatever) when bilbo sings when he sets off for rivendell and it sounded nicely
