Wow I must be a real sissy. I really enjoyed the love story in AOTC. And the moment when they kiss before they face death in the arena -- damn I love that. God I pray if I have children that they never read this thread.

I really, really hate to admit it but for sure one of the best moments of my life was when I saw Anakin lose his legs and arm in Episode III. Yes, pathetic, but I cannot deny that my life would be something entirely different without the prequels.

I guess the question becomes: Is it coincidence that (in the minds of some people) the work of Lucas, Spielberg, and Williams has become considerably worse in the past 10 years? Maybe there is no coincidence. Maybe it's not the work of Lucas, Spielberg, and Williams that has changed. Maybe these critics have changed/matured/grown up. This is a more logical explanation to me.

No I disagree with you here again. The source music worked well. And the last thing I want is a movie like Prince Caspian where every single action moment has a full orchestra/choir maxing out at full blast. The scene you're talking about is purposely eerie and the lack of music works.

Hmm interesting. I have no explanation for that. Food for thought: The second half of this track would have been the perfect main theme for the Narnia series. Laugh now, but I dare you to start at 1:15 and listen, envisioning a Narnia trailer, complete with children and Lion. It would have worked seemlessly!!! edit: SEAMLESSLY, meat head!!!
