  1. 1. Munich 2. Saving Private Ryan 3. Minority Report Lincoln would probably be #3 if it was out.
  2. Your asking if it was better than Robot Chicken? Of course it was, they made a joke about, and considering Seth Green works on both shows, it was probably his idea to do it with Family Guy.
  3. I'd snatch my external hardrive and iPod. Both of those have all my music, however, I buy CD's for the joy of owning them, so I would grab my laundry basket and dump all my CDs in it and run like hell. Oh yeah, and the cat thing as well, although I have 4 cats. EDIT: Doesn't insurance replace a lot of stuff? There's too much precious to me. I would burn with all my things since there is literally too much to save. 500+ DVDs, PS3, CDs, books, et cetera.
  4. This makes no sense to me. Why would John Williams discuss himself with a fan, and why would he even be close enough to the audience to see someone drop their wallet and then go down there, pick it up, and return it. Don't forget that no one likes to read about themselves, and no one would ever tell anyone their username if they happened to be a celebrity posing as someone else. The whole thing is farfetched to me.
  5. Damn someone beat me to this topic. Oh well I was LMAO when I saw it. "Oh no, John Williams!! Great, now we gotta do this thing with Danny Elfman."
  6. A legitimate reason why Hans Zimmer and company is bad would be nice. All you say is that he sucks. Give some reason to your argument. Just because he doesn't compose in the traditional way doesn't make him bad. You're bias against him.
  7. EDIT: Somehow this post got screwed up. Just ignore it.
  8. Yeah, it's magnificent. From what I've seen it's my all-time favorite cover art.
  9. Usually his more serious scores are very subtle and themeless, but I guess that's because I'm used to such great Main Titles from Elfman. I enjoyed Proof Of Life, and I think The Kingdom will be something along those lines.
  10. Debney is one of the worst composers on the planet!

  14. I feel the need to post what my brother and I discussed about Elfman recently. I told him I couldn't wait for The Kingdom, from which he replied, Elfman's bad at trying to be serious, he's a goofy composer. I was LMAO, and ultimately realized it was true.
  15. As I respect yours. At least we can agree on one thing, that Hans Zimmer isn't as bad as everyone here thinks he is
  16. Then we shall start a thread for such talks.
  17. I know there is. They are some of the best scores ever composed, but I can't consciously find Indiana Jones on my iPod and listen to it.
  18. That's a bold statement. It's a true statement. As much as I love John Williams, I don't think he's the best composer ever. Although I will agree that he is the best film score composer ever.
  19. Excellent signature Elmo Lewis, a Dylan classic. I also like your rank, a man of wealth and taste, a Stones classic. In fact one of my favorite songs of all time.
  20. The reason they're so legendary is because of John Williams incredible ability to compose amazing unforgettable themes. However, those unforgettable themes become so unforgettable it drives you insane. The only tracks I'll occasionally listen to are Scherzo For Motorcycle And Orchestra and Anakin vs. Obi-Wan.
  21. Same here. When people think John Williams they think Star Wars and Indiana Jones, a whole series of scores so commonly known and overheard that I can't even listen to any of them anymore. Seriously, I don't listen to either Star Wars or Indiana Jones for the simple reason that they are Star Wars and Indiana Jones.
  22. I really enjoy Miles On Wheels, the best track IMO. Very similar to the style of early jazzy Williams like Cinderella Liberty, which I love.
