  8. Hi Serra told in a lot of interview in France, than he lost the control of the Mix of the soundtrack of goldeneye during the post-production of it. he worked hard on the mix, and on composing the soundtrack to fit each picture and frame, but the producers completly changed that at the end of the post production process. Serra told that during the Premiere , he couldn't beleive it, and was very ashamed that his work has been completly destroyed to a point it was not a good soundtrack anymore. the score was simply not working anymore in the movie.

  13. This member has to be the best thing that's happened to JWFan since the "What is the last film you watched" series. Thank you too bad youtube sucks in term of video quality and sound quality, because i have all these materials in Stereo and in DVD quality (720*576) for some of them and in VHS PAL quality (still great) for the others...(the VHS ones are also in Stereo). if there is one guy here who have a server with some spaces, it would be my plaisure to upload the full quality ones to that server and have them available ONLY for the jwfan.com community...(maybe with a kind of password, i don't know). if someone is ok for that (moderator ?) contact me please here, or by Private Message. Didier.

  16. No, no no. its ManuEl, not some instructions book Thanks for the videos. Its nice seeing Williams conducting some spanish music! Hey at last i saw the 'orchestral version of some folkloric spanish (though i think other mediterranean countries use it) intrument - practically the most spanish related along with the guitar, that i dont know the name in english. And i think is used on EPII count dooku duel. They appear on the video 'spanish dance' at the 0:12 mark. So what's the name? we call that "castagnets"... i corrected the name by the way
  17. hello updaaaaattttttttttttte ! 4 news videos today !!! more to come soon enjoy !!
  18. I liked Enchanted. It's a bit short of being a masterpiece, but it gets close: Amy Adams deserved an Oscar nomination, she was brilliant. Patrick Dempsey, not so much; he's a complete stiff, and I do not for one second believe the romance between his character and Giselle (although, to be fair, this is more the fault of the screenplay than it is of Dempsey). James Marsden, like Adams, is close to perfect; between Enchanted and Hairspray, he had a great year. I liked all of the songs, but I think "That's How You Know" was probably my favorite. I think they mostly stand up very well in relation to Menken's other Disney work. Which reminds me: I need to buy the Enchanted soundtrack, as well as the Broadway version of The Little Mermaid. A friend of mine is a friend of Dempsey, and he told me he was very prentensious about his film career.the guy really thinks he is a great actor and that his future in cinema will be great ........... well ... after seeing his performance in enchanted, who is kind of ruined the whole romance part of the movie, i can only say to him "good luck" LOL i have both, the enchanted soundtrack, and the new broadway version of the little mermaid (i have the demo disk as well with piano/vocals). i love very much the enchanted soundtrack. i only saw the movie few weeks ago. but i started to listen to the soundtrack when it was released last year. well, beleive it or not, but i only started to like the soundtrack very much when i saw the movie for the first time seeing the song and the score with the picture is really a thing to do at first !!!! (i'm speaking to the ass**** who don't want to see E.T to not ruin his listening of the soundtrack LOL !!)... speaking about the broadway version of the mermaid, i really need more listening before giving any judment. thanks for reading.
  19. hey, what you guys think about Enchanted ????? the whole thread is about alan menken and nobody speak about it ? and my favorite song is Go the distance. and my favorite pop song : Go the distance version by Mr Bolton . (but i'm a afanasieff Freak, so i'm not that much objective).
  20. and what about rocketeer and Titanic ??????????? hummmm ... In the words of a certain Y-Wing pilot... "There's...too many of them!!" It's not my fault he does this! What from The Rocketeer does he rip off in Titanic? My mind's gone totally blank on that one. ASW well, as i know pretty well rocketeer, but almost never listened to Titanic, but i remember when watching the movie for the first time "hoooooo fuc*** bi**** that's a rocketeer tune !!!!!!!!" but i don't remember when , or which tune !! so we need to ask to someone else !! maybe it's on the extended edition of titanic released later after the official first release.
  21. and what about rocketeer and Titanic ??????????? hummmm ... Plagiarist! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ouppps, i think i took that line to someone else ...... again ........

  24. hi , welcome to the forum brianna... not williams related, but i had the chance to met the yellowjackets band few days ago just some days before my birthday (it was today) and what a day !! i couldn't unfortunatly stay for the concert to watch them as i'm suffering from tinnitus and hyperacusis since ten years now, but meeting the band, russel ferrante, jimmy haslip, bob mintzer, and the brand new drummer, marcus baylor, was a great day for me, as i'm listening to the band since i'm 12 (i'm 34 today). they all listened to me (in the backstage) speaking about my hearing problem, telling how much i was a fan since so long etc , and they all dedicaced my yellowjackets songbook . it was so nice ... i don't know if you, guys, soundtrack fan know that band, if not, it's one of the best electric jazz band out there, and i suggest you to listen to their album called "greenhouse" especially to the selftitled song "greenhouse". great string intro, and amazing time signature.
