    .

    In case you dig Uematsu's masterpiece Final Fantasy VI...here's a little medley of mine
  3. Word... "Cheval de Guerre" opens February 22nd in France ...........
  4. Saw the movie 2 days ago. It is pretty good and as fun to watch as the previous ones Giacchino's score is great too, works pretty well !
  5. Thanks ! Some of the craziest things I've ever played in that one.. Especially the woodwind parts....horns aren't used to seeing that many notes
  6. You guys in the mood for a french horn rendition of The Asteroid Field ?
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhK7mSnJyFg Check out Martyprod2's channel for some more !! => http://www.youtube.com/user/martyprod2#p/u/0/01_SGxQ8O0M
  8. Hey guys, I entered a SOLO competition held by the progressive rock band The Tangent... and made it amongst the 10 finalists ! Now it's up to internet users to choose whose solo's going to end up on the album ( released in september ) Here's my entry : And if you feel like voting : => http://www.thetangent.org/ And then click on SOLO COMPETITION - MAKE YOUR CHOICE Thanks in advance
  9. Yeah... Funny how some songs I've never really liked ( Forsaken, These Walls ) actually work pretty well when played live. Endless Sacrifice was killer. So was Fatal Tragedy. And The Count of Tuscany, especially Petrucci's solo ....simply divine.
  10. Well I do like The Great Debate, but it was a weird choice for an encore...with LaBrie coming back just at the end to say goodbye
  11. No Portnoy-penned song at all... Labrie was asked about it in an interview and he answered that was pure coincidence....mmmh Here's what we got yesterday : 1.Under a Glass Moon 2.These Walls 3.Forsaken 4.Endless Sacrifice 5.On the Backs of Angels 6.Caught In A Web 7.Through My Words 8.Fatal Tragedy 9.The Count of Tuscany Encore: 10.The Great Debate
  12. Man I saw them yesterday in Belgium...INCREDIBLE show And having seen Mangini in action I can now say that I do not miss MP ! Everyone was completely on fire. JLB hit a couple of bad notes ( he really struggles with the high-pitched stuff from the I&W / Awake era ) but other than that his performance was just stellar ! Same for the other guys, especially JP... Oh and that crazy deluxe version, even at this price, will be mine for sure
  13. He's just uploaded 3 new ones... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfFmu07Om9g http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfFmu07Om9g
  14. Goosebumps indeed. Thank you for sharing this( and the other gems you put on Youtube) Where in the world you find these? It isn't my account but a good friend of mine's ! He's been obsessed with JW for years and has been collecting every JW-related DVDs and VHS' he can find
  15. I'm quite a control freak when it comes to these videos so yeah, I do everything from A to Z. And it's a long process indeed...this one took 5 weeks. The easiest part is actually building the medley ! When I'm doing one of those I just constantly have it playing in my head and the whole structure is ready pretty quickly. Then it's all about arranging, experimenting, recording, filming, editing... The most tedious parts for me are mixing and getting all of the film segments ( which I want in HD of course ... ) But the best part is seeing it taking shape, finally watching it and telling myself "Yes...it works "
  16. Thanks guys Was a fun one to create and play ! ( especially the BTTF, Psycho and Robin Hood parts, had a blast doing those )
  17. Here is my latest work ! In a few words : 28 composers, one score from each... here's my Horn Tribute to Film Music
  18. It's from a 1993 Evening at Pops TV special called "A Salute to John Williams". It was a special celebration for Williams' retirement as Music Director of the Boston Pops Orchestra. It features some lovely tributes from Itzhak Perlman, Leslie Bricusse, Henry Mancini, Aretha Franklin, Jessye Norman and Christopher Reeve. Which can all be seen here : http://www.youtube.com/user/martyprod2#p/u/5/eQ1T9TZGOy0
