  1. Sorry, gimme JP movies anytime that any of those stop motion classics. period I'll will not waste my time speaking about SW.
  2. that must be it, the dial up, since i didnt hear anything bad in broadband. Ill say it sounds as a 192 or better kbps Mp3s... nothing in comparison to last year's realplayer HP COS, which had to be endured more that enjoyed... at least in my old crappy 166 PC...
  3. It is nice I really enjoyed many parts of it. A bit short though only 68 minutes.... and where is harrys wondrous world (end credits) or it is the medley of the new themes in the end? Luke, who does not think if he wants new credits or stick with the old way...
  4. Well neil, it is funny how purists find explanation for the misusage of themes in the OT, but debate endlessly when we new breed Sw fan try to explain the finale of AOC (wich it still dont think it is 100% propper but neither 100% impropper). Just the difference is that Lucas suggested the AOC one and the others are supposedly deliberatedly done by Williams. But they really do need an explanation? They work well in the scenes and that is just what happens. For example the explanation of yoda's theme in Bespin is too much twisted. There can be thousands of explanation like that one in that scene. And Neil, you already know my opinion about the Imperial march, and you never convince me about his just Vader's theme.... becasue as you, i also have my own reasons and explanations.
  5. Well he is the best 'Williamesque' composer out there (aside of John Williams himself) Let it rest that way.... Luke, who is ordering SWON next week.
  6. Do you still dont know who General grievous is? Ah, and it is not a robot it is a cyborg, a force sensitive one (i think) so i think it is someking of prototype of the thing they will do to Anakin. Darth vader is more....polished... Mark Olivarez: peter jackson did not had the difficult problem of naming a trilogy, the names were Tolkiens... (i already know what you meant)
  7. Like the finale of AotC, but again, it was effective. Exactly, it's wrong. Oh, and Ben died while helping Leia to escape. Neil Really? One would think that he is thinking about luke when he dies... Isnt Han solo the only one waiting for luke to enter the falcon?( i could be wrong about this) Im sure she even didnt noticed Ben was dead until she saw he was not in the ship... Leia is on the ramp shouting to Luke. "Come on! Come on! Luke, it's too late!" The whole point of them even being at the Death Star was to rescue the princess. Ben sacrificed himself so that she could be saved. Er... are you sure?... im not sure about the orginal version, but in the Special edition, they are captured when they arrive to alderaan (what is left of it), to deliver the Death Star plans to Viceroy Bail organa. Artoo eventually found about Leia, after Ben went to disconnect the tractor beam. So he didnt knew she was there, and it was not their intention to enter the Death Star. And you cannot deny he wanted them to leave with the plans, and he wanted luke to be safe. I dont think he cared much for the rest of the crew... Penitence: watch SW again...............and attack of the clones

Neil you must hate the prequels too much voting SOTE over Williams scores.... you could have voted in blank too... Anyway didnt you like AOC score before seeing the movie? And remember we are talking scores, not movies. Luke, who cannot think liking a score and then disliking it becasue of the movie...
  9. I didnt meant that... i just was joking about one of our few agreements...
  10. I agree. That may be my favorite score, too. Neil I still want the superb special editions of the SW saga though...
  11. Jeshopk has a great point about AOC. Why they did not hire a ghost writer to score at least some music for the battle? (it would not be new in SW, since ROJ supposedly has ghostwritten parts...)
  12. Of the few bond scores i have (Thunderball, You only live twice and OHMSS) i prefer YOLT, it is a mixture of the two, without the repetitiviness of the 007 theme in thunderball and the creepy synth music from OHMSS... (but the three are great nevertheless)
  13. why do you speak in future tense? The game has been released for months... (and you already know who the composer is...) Luke, puzzled
  14. Luke, who surely will be dissapointed Well, you can't have it all. Maybe the title will disappoint you but at least you have a lot of other good things to look out for. Like the bahing from the purists....
  15. Isn't the dark side beckons slightly more than a minute long?... Thats is THE best cue from JW IMHO...
  16. Amen to that. I will be dissapointed if it is not that title. Luke, who surely will be dissapointed
  17. About the last crusade cues... I got em but the sound 'the pitch' i think, is slow I heard a memeer here has fixxed the pitch with cooledit or another program... is that true, how can i do it? Luke, who has not burned those on CD yet waiting for an oportunity to get the right pitch cues...
  18. Wouldn't you be happier leaving them to me? Neil Why? they are not vinyl...
  19. Well then... the score in that deluxe edition is the famous 128 $ one? Luke, who would rush for it if anyone told him the truth...
