The term Coruscant was invented by Zhan. George Lucas' picture of the capital of the Empire/Republic always was a cityscrapper covered planet though. There is nothing to argue there. It was even officaly said in the official site. That and the Character Aayla Secura* (how fitting for this topic ) are the only things that Lucas got from the expanded universe regarding names and characters. About events and actions, well i have all published novels and i dont remember anything more right now. *She was not filmed along the other crew, she was added later to the movie i think as part of bonus for the countless fans of that character. Ysalimari appeared before in Mysteries of the Sith PC game, along with Mara Jade. And Thrawn appears in both TIE Fighter game and Rebellion (Supremacy for UK) has also Talon Karrde and Pellaeon too.

Any unreleased material?

I bet it has at least better CGI cutscenes that the actual movie....

Shore did not just make themathic cohesion for TTT. He just pasted the old themes, created more unthematic action music and created two new main themes (Rohan's and Gollum's). He got it right in ROTK, tough, as i said.

And how is that they changed their mind? Well at least it made Shore truly orchestrate the music. (TTT did not deserve even a nomination) Luke, happy because Johnny could get at least oscar nominations for EPIII and Indy IV But anyway Shore already won an oscar for LOTR, being one sole story ... isnt that enough? Luke, who thinks that Shore should have won for ROTK (the best score of the three IMO) and FOTR being only nominated.

I thought we were supposed to be quiet about you still buying toys. As for coolest Jedi Knight....Darth Vader. Neil That's a Dark Jedi and a Sith my friend, even if that name does not appear in Star Wars Stefan...You would amaze at the hordes of fans of that Kel Dor Jedi named Plo Koon. And there are far more strange names in all the cultures of our world so let a galaxy to have their own. I think neither Tolkien or the mastermind behind Star Trek were good at baptisming(?) people then.

Well i saw the first Potter movie yesterday and i have to agree that it has the poorest CGI i have seen in a big budget movie. I spent the whole movie thinking OH MY GOD. The only good things are Fluffy, The face of Voldemort, the centaur and sometimes the Troll. B U T Has anyone seen the credits? There are up to EIGHT Special Effects companies, the first one mentiones is SONY pictures Imageworks. I fear they are the reason of the awful Quidditch match. Anyway they ILM is not in the movie poster credits so it is not that they got the credit and did nothing. And you saying this Morlock: you should have checked about Harry Potter too. Luke, who couldnt believe ILM would perform THAT bad.

We've had this converstation already. Luke had the same problem with Gandalf and saruman not doing magiv tricks every 5 minutes. It was explained why, can't you keep up? Stefancos- :roll: Well i dont mind if they do not cast spells that destroy armies but using small staff bursts (he Gandalf does in the official movie videogame) instead of ALWAYS kicking, slashing and hitting could be nice... (whats the difference in hitting with small magic and weapons? And in the movie the 'guide not help' thing is a mess. Didn gandalf take up the 'throne' after dethenor's madness? If that is not getting your nose in the people's affairs then what's it?)

I think that the hulk face was the best portrait of a human face yet. Of course the guy does not speak, they we cannot match it with any other CGI face I think the best face is in this pick: http://www.thehulk.com/index_flash.html And another good pick is this one : How can people say it as fake and below 'normal' CGI is beyond me... Who can anyone put Dobby and Gollum in the same level and other put Dobby as pitiful CGI? Anyway, i dont need to see an IMAX screen to see flaws. Must be a sixth sense or something...

Hey i just looked in the book. Saruman was killed by Wormtongue and then worm was killed by hobbit arrows as they tried to stop him. The poor soul of saruman, though was going west but a cold breeze drivem it to the east and vanished. Rogue, i'm with you. Though Gangald kicked some ass with staff and sword, he could have used a little magic too (just like in the movie's videogame for instance)

My post only adressed the presentation of the score on CD, not the musical quality It in the track called minas Tirith, the part were the boy soprano can be heard.
