  1. Sleepers This is such a good score. I really enjoyed it. I absolutely love The Football game. I wasn't blown away but i enjoyed it.
  2. As soon as i read the title to this thread i knew it would just be the Superman logo with the date somehwere.
  3. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban of course. Hook Peter Pan I can't think of anymore.
  4. Hostage I liked it. I thought it was a really good thriller. The thing i liked most about the film was it's direction. The story line involving the dvd was a bit distant at some parts of the movie. But all around i enjoyed it. The shot with that crazy guy coming down the hallway blazing with fire and the two bottles in his hand was awesome. Hitch It wasn't funny. Every funny scene in this movie was shown on either the commercials or the trailers. I enjoyed about two thirds of it. Yeah it still had all the cliches of a romantic comedy but it still had it's own spark. I stopped watching because it became obvious how it was going to end. Diary of Mad Black Woman See now this is a funny romantic comedy. Tyler Perry is hilarious. His portayal of several different characters reminded me of Eddie Murphy, Perry didn't do it nearly as good as Eddie but he held is own. Medina is so funny! The film does slow down significantly about a half hour in, the laughs stop and the movie becomes a love story all around. We don't see Medina do something funny for a long time. The film does have heart but at some points it stumbled as all the romantic comedy cliches just came out in full force. Kung Fu Hustle Too much use of slow motion. Wasn't all that funny Some nice fight scenes though. Guess who's coming to dinner I loved this film. Such a classic and one of Hepburns best performances. This woman can recite the ABCs and maked it sound like Shakespeare. She is so talented. She has the power to dwarf anyone in the scene with her. Even the great Peter O'Toole was shadowed by her in The Lion in Winter. However, yes the performance were great by everyone and the story was great i hated the fact this film tried to break new ground, perhaps to teach people something yet Hepburns family had the typical black maid. You know the plump elderly lack woman with a sassy attitude. That is such a cliche that has plagued black female actors for years. Why couldn't the maid have been white or someone of another race? A little bit of hypcorisy there.
  5. I don't really care. But some part of me says i should.
  6. I'm sure i would have but Williams scoring it has just given more reasons to see it.
  7. I only get worked up about things that don't need to be changed. This is a perfect example. Dumbledore is another, Draco's hair is another, their clothing is another well i could go all day but you get the point.
  8. Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events Not as good as Nemo but still one of Newman's best.
  9. I've seen bigger mistakes.
  10. I'm okay with it. I honestly think that the score should be original save for the march. These are two different movies, the march can only tie them together. However i hope the march is rerecorded and not altered it any significant way.
  11. It was? And i never stated that i stopped listening to it, its just that when i did that detail buged me.
  12. I'm starting to think that's a good thing.
  13. I used to love this score until i listened to From Russia With Love. Road Trip sounds almost exactly the same.
  14. If there is a thread like this ignore this one and point me in that direction. For me it would have to be Gabriel Yared's score for Troy i liked it until the wailing like a banshee track. After that everything just goes down hill. I expected a masterpeice.
  15. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
  16. That was one of the comments off Mugglenet. Is this true, i hear no resemblance but do any of you?
  17. It's a scene of the military getting into action and disabling one of the Tripods. So military music for that scene is pretty much a no-brainer, right? I was referring to the scenes in the book, yes the military comes together and triumphs over a tripod, but it doesn't warrant overly patriotic music.
  18. Yes they do, but none of those scenes warrant that type of music.
