Smeagol 0
I've listened to this cue a million times before but for some reason it struck me in a particular way this morning. Maybe the combination of the gray sky, cold wind and empty streets here in Sackville is just making me feel a bit moody today. Anyways, one of my house mates is a voice major, and she has for some time been telling me that I should make an arrangement for voice and piano of this cue so she can sing it. Today I decided that I'll do it. Does anyone out there have some sort of score for this? I'll end up doing it by ear if there's nothing available but it'd be easier to do it from a score. I think I already found the words for it so we're good on that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
Joe Brausam 215
I think it is already available in the ROTK piano solo book.
Maglorfin 196
I think not, unless you had in mind another book?
Docteur Qui 1,544
That book only has the last 30 seconds or so of "The End of All Things" which is only some of the Eagles music.
Joe Brausam 215
Right, but that's the only part of "The Eagles" that would work well for solo voice, IMHO.
FattyMcButterpants 1
Do you mean the WHOLE "The Eagles" track or just the solo part for Renee Fleming?Because I've transcribed the whole piece a long time ago, I just may need to retouch it a bit, since knowledge and abilities grow with time of course

I was actually thinking about the whole track, including the solo part with Fleming. That's cool that you transcribed it already. I did some work on it but didn't get too far as I'm too busy working on my own compositions now. It is something on my "To do for fun" list that I will eventually get around to do.
