KK 3,307
I thought Blunt the Knives was a bit annoying. And The Edge of Night is brilliant.
gkgyver 1,645
Blunt The Knives is IMO just as annoying as the songs in LOTR (save for Edge of Night). It is source music that I think shouldn't be on any CD. At least Edge of Night is greatly used in the film.
Faleel 5,350
I like it.I like all source music though...
crocodile 8,017
Both new songs are better. I wouldn't really call Eowin lament a "song". And The Edge of Night, whille effective in the film, seems a bit too modern (almost poppish) in its performance for this setting.Karol
Wojo 2,453
I'm at least pleased that the "Blunt the Knives" poem itself was used in the film, since it's a rather enjoyable moment in the book. I don't mind its inclusion on the soundtrack. If it's there and it bothers you, the track can be removed from playlists...so long as you don't mind playing record producer. Damien F 1,742
The drinking song has a nice charm about it but I find Blunt The Knives to be pretty much unlistenable.Actually I don't dislike any of the cast songs from LOTR trilogy

Faleel 5,350
What's wrong with Blunt the Knives?People are just unhappy, that they didnt get the Rivendell source music instead of "dwarves singing about knives"
