Who do you want to score Obi-Wan Kenobi? (2022, Disney+)

Debney, McNeely and Cottee are all fantastic composers that would fit right in the Star Wars musical landscape (well McNeely already has! ) -

^Completely agree with Crumbs. The more "modern" approach works perfectly for The Mandalorian and now The Book of Boba Fett. That same style (or any major difference from the film scores in general) just won't work for this series I imagine. They need a more traditional score for this show, especially now if Vader/Anakin will be in it as well. I'll be extremely disappointed if this series is literally just The Mandalorian but starring Obi-Wan. -

For me personally I haven't really been following the topic on here that much... most of the people that I'm referring to are on like Reddit, YouTube, etc. -

For once I agree with Thor! The cyber kids are meh, but other than that I haven't really had any complaints. -
Given that "You're Han Solo" is the only unreleased bit in Lego TFA (and it's named as such in the files, while the other pieces use their OST titles) and it's a bit micro-edited, I'm willing to bet it was originally going to be on the album, but was cut late, hence why it still appears in the game. I remember Amazon listed Jabba Flow on the album too like a month or so before release.

I just realized, I recognize the music (at least from the beginning of the video)... iirc it was either from APM or Audio Network. So at least some of the music in the trailer is just random stock music that sounds Star Wars-esque. EDIT: Found it! "Weeping Beauty" composed by James Brett, the same composer who wrote the "Anthony Daniels March".

If this even is music for the game and not just library music from APM or whatever, it's likely that it'll be a mix of music from the films and maybe an original score (which is common not only for every recent Star Wars game but also for many of the non-SW Lego games). Given the immense size of this game compared to the older ones, it would make perfect sense to have more music to fill in the gaps.

What even is Cremeritis? I keep seeing some people use this word but I can't quite make out what it means. I seem to recall someone making it up years ago.

VHS will make it's comeback within the next few years. You heard it here first folks!

La-La Land announces a final collection of Star Trek music

Wasn't there a third request thread at some point? I could have sworn I made a couple requests last summer, but I don't have any posts in the two threads being mentioned (aside from a couple I made yesterday before MV said the tracklist was already locked). -

Pretty sure that'll never happen, but it would be amazing! -
Definitely fake. Really bad fan film vibes; would be slightly more believable if it said it was for a video game or something.

I have kind of a bizarre theory; we keep talking about what might eventually connect these stories (present day, Boba/Tusken flashbacks, Boba as a kid flashbacks). I'm starting to wonder if the link between them is something as simple as water. How, I have no clue. The Tuskens told him about how Tatooine was once covered in water, Boba's "kid" flashbacks are of him looking out over the vast waves on Kamino watching his father leave, and people in the "present" keep bringing up the fact that Tatooine was once covered in water (notable mentions also include the Tusken "water pods" or whatever those cactus things are called, as well as the guy in the most recent episode being a water vendor). I'm probably looking too far into it, but they mention water quite a lot, particularly Tatooine's former landscape. I feel as though this is foreshadowing something. I just don't know what. Who knows, maybe that ridiculous theory about Tuskens being fish people under their masks is true It would kind of work story-wise, as both Boba and the Tuskens would have been from a similar environment, further bonding Boba to his tribe (that's mostly if not fully wiped out) or the native people of Tatooine in general. Maybe the Pykes or some ancient crime lords/syndicate was somehow responsible for ridding the planet of it's water? I have no idea. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -

Same. I practically have to avoid the internet entirely until the evening just to avoid spoilers! -

I'd give all the money in my wallet and my left nut. But that's never gonna happen.
