#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,388 Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 That blonde chick was the hottest girl in the film...
Naïve Old Fart 13,025 Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Ha-ha-ha! I just got the dog food reference. It only took me 13 hours!Anyway, wasn't that Nazi woman from "Last Crusade" in a Bond film, once?
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,388 Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 View To A Kill.Nazi woman from TLC "My name is Jenny Flex."Roger Moore: "Ofcourse it is."That's pretty much her entire contribution....
Naïve Old Fart 13,025 Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Geez! No wonder I couldn't remember her! Ta for that, Stefan. I'd watch it again, but "AVTAK" is probably the most incipid Bond film ever. Not even the great Chris Walken could save it, and boy, did he try!
gkgyver 1,647 Posted March 22, 2013 Author Posted March 22, 2013 Sorry, guys. I hate to say this, but...Stefan's right: "YOLT", "TSWLM", and "Moonraker" are the same film. They are all, in essence, re-makes of "Thunderball".TSWLM and especially Moonraker are remakes of Thunderball? What on earth are you smoking????Please explain in detail.
Naïve Old Fart 13,025 Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Basically, some bad guy or other, has stolen something, and Bond has to stop him using it to anihilate the world-as-we-know-it.Actually add "OHMSS", "TMWTGG", "GoldenEye", "TND", "TWINE", and "DAD", to that list.
gkgyver 1,647 Posted October 21, 2013 Author Posted October 21, 2013 Basically, some bad guy or other, has stolen something, and Bond has to stop him using it to anihilate the world-as-we-know-it.Well, if you start criticising this, and add "Bond accidentally meets and screws stunning Miss World contender", we can stop making Bond films altogether.
Sharkissimo 1,978 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 It took you 7 months to respond to that?

Crude, and slow, gkgyver, your attack was no better than that of a clumsy child.
gkgyver 1,647 Posted November 3, 2013 Author Posted November 3, 2013 It took you 7 months to respond to that?Excuse me, I forgot this thread as quickly as Skyfall faded from my memory.
Trent B 354 Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Well I FINALLY saw this along with Quantum Of Solace. I got to say I liked Skyfall a lot better but it sucks about M, she was good in the film. I hope if there's another Bond movie Arnold comes back to score it. He's done a great job with the series so far.
Rachael Foley 10,164 Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Meh about Arnold, apart from TND, his efforts were fairly forgettable. Sharkissimo and Koray Savas 2

Koray Savas 2,260 Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 The producers let Mendes bring on his own team and it net them a billion plus. Newman will be back.
Naïve Old Fart 13,025 Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 It's a shame, Koray, but...I think you are right.
Sharkissimo 1,978 Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 It's not a shame, but Koray's correct. Koray Savas 1
Naïve Old Fart 13,025 Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 It is a shame.Guess what, his name was Sharky!
Jay 46,244 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Newman's score was so boring..... How often do people who initially liked it really still listen to it?
Code 000. Destruct. 0. 4,262 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 I liked it but admittedly haven't returned to it much. I don't know if that's the music's fault or the fact that my serious Bond moods come rarely.
gkgyver 1,647 Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 Jesus, this thread is still going. Why don't you let Skyfall rest in peace?
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,388 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Skyfall is forever...forever...forever!
Richard P 5,303 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Newman's score was so boring.....How often do people who initially liked it really still listen to it?As often as any score I liked in the last few years. Far more than QoS or CR. I'm very happy Newman will be back. The lack of chronology on the album really hurts it IMO.
Sharkissimo 1,978 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 How often do people who initially liked it really still listen to it? You can count me.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,388 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Yep, still listen to it. It probably didnt get quite as many plays as the Arnold scores though.
gkgyver 1,647 Posted December 18, 2013 Author Posted December 18, 2013 It's collecting dust on my shelve, frankly. And I won't buy the next one if Newman does the score. I've had enough Snoozeman.
KK 3,313 Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Coolman's score for Saving Mr.Banks is pretty good btw.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,388 Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Yay! All praise the Coolman!
