I haven't really started listening to TROS even. I'm gonna wait until I see the movie.

I have, although I haven't seen the film yet. Now I'm debating whether to listen to the album right away or not. Tough choice.

Hmmm, yes, I admit, I've never got into 1941. I know the score, but I've never seen the movie, and I've listened to the whole expanded album from start to finish only once or twice. Good, that's one resolution for 2020!

I can appreciate that. I've also always wondered why the film version sounds so much different from the OST version... I think the latter sounds better (the orchestration is more fleshed out), but I needed to have the film version, as well. For completeness' sake! 

 

The only piece I still yearn to have is the SL version of "In einem kleinen Cafe in Hernals"... Man, that piece is just mind-bogglingly good.
