  1. Yeah, I think it's summer 2018....don't quote me on that, but I remember reading an article saying they already put dates down for TASM 4/5 EDIT: They set release dates on TASM 3/4. I was right about the date though: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=46131
  2. Someone pointed that out on the SHH forums last night. How the fuck anyone was supposed to see it, is beyond me.
  3. Watertower Deluxe- last year I bought both the Watertower Standard & Deluxe.
  4. Spider-Man 3 really wasn't that bad, and even it's biggest detractor can't say this looks better. So basically what we can walk away knowing from is this: A- Harry Osborn becomes the Green Goblin before Norman..fail. B- The Cgi looks awful, let's hope they fix it before the movie. C- No D- Oh God No E- Why F- So now I know what it feels like to be like one of the Star Wars fans who hate the prequels G- NO OIEWVEOIVLHNBG NO. There's also rumor of Shocker being in it too
  5. DVD/Blu's I've bought recently : The Wolverine Man of Steel The Hobbit: EE Misfits- Season 1 Breaking Bad- The complete series (had to order it in stock) The Usual Suspects
  6. That's actually an extended episode, while the TV broadcast had those portions cut out of it.
  7. Must've been removed. But no, it was a full length trailer, and it showed some pretty big money shots & spoilers. Oh, and here's what Goblin looks like, and yep, it's Harry alright. This movie just gets worse and worse the more I see of it.
  8. Leaked trailer. http://vk.com/video64139721_166971057?hash=2a69c08c1af19175 I just see no point in this franchise at all.
  9. Both, I remember several interviews at the time were it was told (multiple times) about how hard they wanted it to be more accurate.
  10. He was a really cool and caring dude. It's a shame he died.
  11. One of the biggest offenders is Harry being Goblin before Norman, yet they strained that one of the reasons for the reboot was for Comic Book Accuracy.
  12. There was a rumor, posted somewhere on SuperHeroHype around last summer, with someone giving out leaked info about the movie, and they'd been right about leaked info from TASM1 (no snout for lizard, parents storyline being dropped midway, important scenes & Connors family getting cut out.) Also, there's a video or another description of (Foxx? I think) during an interview with DeHann and he said something along the lines of Dane being the Goblin, and DeHaan gave a smirk. There's also this, apparently leaked storyboards :
  13. This poster looks just like the rest of the movie. Fucking awful. Rhino's look sucks, I've already posted my thoughts on Mr. Fre-I mean, Electro. Also, Harry-Goblin before Norman, no bueno. Spidey's suit is gorgeous though.
  14. I'm going to trade in my previous BrBa blurays into moviestop for this. Unless it doesn't knock the price down barely, in which case, fuck that.
  15. A series of unfortunate events by Thomas Newman
  16. Home Alone / Home Alone 2 Batman Returns Arkham Origins Selections from scores that have christmas-like music : New Beginnings by Brian Tyler for Iron Man 3 Goldeneye Overture - Eric Serra for Goldeneye Snow Business, Pipeline, Christmas in Turkey Remember Pleasure, & Ice Bandits - David Arnold for The World is not Enough Christmas W/ Joker - Shirley Walker for Batman: The Animated Series
  17. Except we don't give a shit about Connors because he's not related to Peter in any way, while Osborn was almost like a father figure to him in Raimi's film, making the whole confrontation with the Goblin more personal (and thus more interesting). Well, the patriotism was a direct result of 9/11, so I forgive it in the first film. The other two were just there to make it blatantly obvious that they were just copying the structure of the Superman films. I enjoyed Amazing when I first saw it, but the more I thought about it the more I realized how empty it was. It was just a remake of a ten year old film, with a different villain but so many other aspects identical that it really hurt the film. The marketing was all about Peter's "secret history" let by the time the studio was done, we were left with an empty remake that was better than Raimi's effort in some ways, and weaker in others. Neither series has done anything perfectly, but are clearly going after two different audiences. Raimi was making films off of the Spidey comics of the 60s and 70s, while Webb clearly is using the Ultimate universe. What you're left with is a lot of familiarity in Webb's movie because it doesn't try to do anything different. I'll give the next one a chance as I'm a big Spidey fan, but I am past the point in thinking that we'll get a really good Spidey film anytime soon. There's just too many factors against it at this point for me. At this point, the 90s animated series, which reused the same shots of Peter swinging around NYC every episode, is probably still the best adaptation for me. I agree on just about everything you said, however, (despite some bad things like Venom), I think Spectacular Spider-Man was the best adaptation of him so far. Raimi's is second only.
  18. Scientist is under pressure from bigger corporation than himself, takes self-made serum, turns into evil crazy monster (although Norman went insane instead of becoming a lizard man), while Peter Parker learns to harness his power as Spider-Man. Just told like shit instead of having finesse.
  19. Yep, which is why when Peter hit her, my audience started clapping LOL For you, yeah.
  20. Correction: Peter hadn't hit her at that point. Correction: She dumped him because "he wasn't there for her".
  21. Yeah, cause crying when : Your Uncle is shot Your best friend is killed The love of your life dumps you You face hardships in your family life = bad Rather have Spider-Man crying than doing that bullshit wailing Garfield did in TASM. Franco was fine, and one of the best things about SM3. Same goes for Dafoe. But hey, maybe some people like pointless/ soulless beat for beat remakes with an uninteresting villain.
  22. Laaaa La La La La LLllaaaaaaaaaa? Elfman's theme was far superior. No. Spider-Man beats the hell out of Amazing Spider-Man. TASM had a story that was a constructed piece of trash. Still better than SM3 though. It's same story from Spider-Man with a different villain. Only, not told as well. At all.
  23. The infinity gauntlet is a glove Thanos wears, which is comprised of the Infinity Gems (The different Gems representing Time, Matter, Soul, Space, Reality, Mind). Basically, if you have the Gauntlet, you can do whatever the fuck you want.
