  1. If you watched the Walt Disney Concert Hall Gala on PBS, you might have catched a peak of Hans Zimmer when The Rite of Spring ended. I guess he was doing "research" for his new score Kabalevsky Overture to Colas Breugnon The Boston Pops Orchestra John Williams
  2. Happy Birthday!!! I hope this time you DO play Goldsmith's Fireworks I sent you. Goldsmith Fireworks London Symphony Orchestra Jerry Goldsmith
  3. The Cowboys Overture in "BY REQUEST..." was recorded in 1981 for a CD called "Pops Around the World: Digital Overtures".
  4. Why would you get worried by something like that?
  5. Hey, I've educated friends about the Wilhelm scream by talking about it and showing them that Quicktime thingie before the TTT:EE...you think I didn't tell them about Bruce when we watched Nemo? Marian - I don't read a lot of threads Hector - back atcha
  6. Independence Day and Armaggedon and Pearl Harbor make me wanna puke. The FX are cool, though on the first two I mentioned.
  7. A couple more: "When You're Alone" from Hook "Manual Burn" from Apollo 13 "Introducing Colin" from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets "Break-In" from House of Sand and Fog "Squishy" from Finding Nemo :puke: "Short Hair" from Mulan "Hard to Starboard" from Titanic "The Black Gate is Closed" from The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers "The Black Gate Opens" from The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King "Inner Workings" from Star Trek: The Motion Picture "Button Me Up" from Contact Another movie title: Not Without my Daughter And according to the database for which Windows Media Player takes the names, track 12 from Amistad is called: "Adams' Cummation" And for some members: "Real or Imagined" from A Beautiful Mind
  8. Independence Day is a very crappy movie. IMHO, the closest to decent thing he has done is Stargate.
  9. Normally I'd say, "who cares", but then again, who cares. GO PADRES!!!
  10. I have to confess that once in harmony class (Or whatever it's called in english) he had to develop a theme, and I cheated and used Williams' JFK theme
  11. Other tracks which have been known to go well with love making, are : "Open the gates" from Star Trek 5 "Night Struggle" from First Knight "Forced Entry" from Rambo II "The worm" from Poltergeist 2 "Search in the shaft" from Alien "The Egg chamber" from Alien "Alien in the pod" from Alien "Shafted" from Omen II "Riding Lesson" from First Knight "The ape man sequence" from Altered States. "Passage through the planet core" from Episode One "Predator's big finish" from the CD of the same name. "Kaboom!!" from Red October "Going down" from Rambo III "Sub level 3" from Aliens "In the cornfield" from Signs. "Face Hugger" from Alien "Escape from torture" from Rambo II "Under and over" from Rambo III "Kirk's explosive reply" from Wrath of Khan "The second coming" from Omen III ? "Asthma attack" from Signs. "The Grand Finale" from Edward Scissorhands. There's a Horner score: Unlawful Entry, does that count? It reminded me of something, but, umm, nevermind. Let it go.
  12. I take it back, it was more like Sneakers meets The Spitfire Grill meets Balto.
  13. I heard some of that, it reminded me of Deep Impact. No, wait, it was more like a mix between Apollo 13, The Pelican Brief and Honey I Shrunk the Kids. Other than that it's typical Horner. And if you look closely you might find something resembling the Spock theme, but a little different.
  14. Mommy, please.. latest five posts on the main page and milk
