Hi Guys, Do any of you have an idea about the possibility of a concert featuring Alan Menken in Europe during 2023 or 2024? Additionally, I'm curious if there exists a website where all of his concert information can be tracked? Thanks, Matt

I was working in the company which did recording of this kind of events. To record a concert for a TV or blu-ray release you would need much more equipment... At least 2 cameras on the stage (left and right), two on the balcony (both sides) and on the back with long-range lens (similar to the one that is used to record foodball game). The same with the sound - this concert was not amplified. Normaly if they would wanted to record it you will see many microphones on the stage + AV desk somewhere on the back with sound and video engineers. Recording of the concert is not that simple that someone will just press one button and the microphones above the stage will pick the sounds from all instruments.

The concert sadly was definitely NOT recorded...

Last question probably to people from Milan - We need to get a bus from bergamo airport to Milan city center, is it better to purchase tickets online on the terravision website or on the airport/bus? We are going to be at the airport around 02:00am

Any idea if the tickets for the concert are assigned to a person? I can see the names on the ticket but are they going to actually check everyone's ids? I'm asking because I would like to take to a concert someone else. I've messaged vivaticket today, but I'm not sure how long it take for them to respond.

yep, the demand for this concert is very high, and the other countries had at least two concerts this year.

That's what they said in italian I've just translated it to english. "La prelazione sull'acquisto, che poteva essere esercitata prima dell’apertura vendite online, era riservata solo ai sostenitori della Filarmonica della Scala per la stagione 2022 e ai professori soci della Filarmonica della Scala."

On Filarmonica della Scala facebook page they said "Online sales, was reserved only for supporters of the Filarmonica della Scala for the 2022 season and the professors members of the Filarmonica della Scala." So I guess if you are paying some yearly subscription you are becoming "supporter of the Filarmonica della Scala" which allows you to do early booking.

By the looks of it yes. When I checked the setting plan before 14:00 there were some seats already booked.

Hang on a second - was there any VIP tickets?

To be honest I was really suprised when I saw that so many people from jwfan didn't get their tickets... I've managed to purchase two tickets without any problem - I even picked the seats. Never saw something like this in the past - I literally saw tens seats disappearing from the sitting plan every second.
