JW and Midevil Music (medieval, middle ages etc..)
MissPadmé replied to InTheCity's topic in JOHN WILLIAMS
just because they pointed out, that you can't spell medieval correctly? ahh .. I guess as a composer/artist you are very sensitive well yes, I too find itrather lame, that there is practically no behind the scenes footage of Williams conducting/discussing the POA Soundtrack -

I think it must be very hard to get that far with maybe 3 facial expressions.. so more power to him..... So, who's with me that Williams lost because of the messed up WarHorse Promo?
-
well yes.. why not ?
-
Well, I predict.. War Horse will not win.. yesss...
-
Yeah.. finally we can hear Williams at that show would have been cool if he mentioned Williams..
-
Was a shame he lost in 2006 at the Academy Awards, was unexpected.. but there you go. It's not like Williams is ignored by the Academy he was asked to conduct in 2002, got nominated nearly every year he has written something!!! and has won (let's not forget) 5 times!! Don't think Williams cares that much for awards anymore - so he already got awarded with being able to write music for that beautiful looking picture: War Horse

a fine composer..! It is well deserved, better then Reznor to win..

How did Tintin do at the boxoffice in Europe since it opened

It's a very good and funy adventure movie - not more, but certainly not LESS! I can't understand what they thought, why no US release in October... jeez, what a pity... -

Well.. If Jesse Harlin really is aware of us and on our side, an Official release doesn't really matter that much anymore.. Who was it, who reported that Steve Sansweet said something like "Lucasfilm is considering releasing the expanded soundtracks.. and thank's to everyone who helped bringing everything together?"
-
So we have to wait for the 3D Blu-Ray release to get the "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace Complete Recordings" Ok then...

Now that is pretty amazing, to say the least.. Thank's soo much! looking forward to AOTC -
-
Yeees.. or this will be a the 3D upconverted Recording Session footage of Williams conducting the LSO in 1999?
-
alright, then I shall ask no further questions
-
That is true.. but wait: What if the 3D on the cover actually means "3 Discs"..!? ..
-
There is no point for me to assume anything anymore.. well if you and Jason know something, why not just tell us? Or even better, please post the backcover not the ugly frontcover, because that one might even include a tracklist EDIT-- wait a minute, It wouldn't make sense for Jason to post a hoax, and I suppose the JWFAN-Sony Classical connection is growing (regarding promo-stuff) so if you mean with real-deal the "Complete unedited score for Star Wars Ep1 produced by someone like Matessino" call me exited!

Yes - knowing Lucasfilm/Sony as we do., don't see the reason why they would suddenly choose to sell complete Soundtracks as a movie tie in.. ohh, and don't forget the 3D Covers.. yeah..!

ah cool! Acr the Stars sounds rather good in the DVD/Blu-Ray Rip, so no problem - but I hope that the 1:40 that lead to the music in the files I already found are in there somewhere!
