  1. Finally, some appeal for the males in this franchise. I remember she was in the TV mini Revelations playing some goth chick - major turn off, but she looks good here.
  2. Don't get me wrong, I like Shore's LOTR. But I really don't have the patience to sit through more of his underscore which sounds almost the same as what's already heard on the original soundtrack release. My first priority is to the new Williams soundtracks and the Revenge of the Sith DVD... and then eventually Potter, if Patrick Doyle manages to impress me.
  3. LOTR will certainly be the last one I even think of picking up.
  4. Oh no, Sturgis. What is that you have taken out of your pants and pointing at me?
  5. The "Window to the Past" theme would be my first choice of thematic continuity in GOF since it's the theme for Harry and Sirius in the kind of sub-trilogy that is POA, GOF and OOTP.
  6. Drew Struzan's artwork for PS/SS was for the US poster. The one I put down was the International sheet.
  7. Well, I guess it's only fair, MSM. I steal your Star Wars posters, you steal my Harry Potter posters.
  8. Yes, we've heard. Several times in fact.
  9. I voted Geisha simply because I trust Johnny's choices. It was John Williams who made me a Potter-fan, but ironically it was J.K. Rowling who tainted my vision of her books as soon as I read that pile of stinky dog poo she wrote known to some as Harry Potter and the Half-Arsed Prince.
  10. All I've heard from him is Much Ado About Nothing within the film and all I heard was a bunch of waltzy stuff. Eh. Horner could... back in '82. Arnold can. So can Poledouris. As can Joel Goldsmith. Granted, in their own way.
  11. IMDb users are among the most stubborn and mis-informed. I had a fight with some people there who thought John Williams recorded all of his scores with the London Symphony Orchestra. Man, they got upset when I told them otherwise. There's an occasional decent poster here and there, but the rest are mostly bomb-throwers.
  12. I might just wait until the GOF soundtrack is down to $10 in one of those dirt cheap CD stores in Pitt St. in Sydney. All the other HP soundtracks are down to that price now. I'm just not in the mood to rush out and buy a CD by a composer I'm overall unfamiliar with.
  13. I voted for both. I'm bad at choices.
  14. I'd say Schindler's List. Spielberg's style shifted then as well. Just look at the difference between Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park besides the fact that the first one is a superior movie.
  15. Oh, ignore him. Look at his post count, he doesn't get out much.
  16. I was 17 when I joined. Galloping around this board is a game for the young.
  17. Really fellas, you must learn to govern your passions. They will be your undoing.
  18. Mr. Cerrabore, you carry on quoting regulations!
