  1. 1 Williams fan > 500 James Horners I'd better stop, the claws will come out soon.
  2. Not "More music", but "ALL music". And lets hope for no crappy dialogue in cues...
  3. He's wrong because 50 JW fans can't be wrong, especially versus one Horner fan... Right?
  4. If Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was a standalone film (which it is IMO), seperate entities from the previous "visual companions", Clem would have given it 5 stars. The extra star is missing because it has less in common with the last two scores. If he did his ridiculous star system like with LotR and had an extra option "Score in relation to previous scores" he would have put four there and five stars overall. Or not, because he is a big fat LotR-biased, Horner-worshipping fool.
  5. There's no point in even caring what Clem has to say now. He has lost so much credibility with his Potter and Prequel reviews that it's not worth listening to what he says. As long as we here at JWFAN.net know a good score when we hear one, that's all that matters.
  6. Yeah. Turns out it was just on the other CD. Completely agree with you on this one. The changes in the plot (not that they were big) prevented the movie from coming to a grinding stop and slowly moving for the next half hour, like the first two movies.
  7. This is not a nitpick, but more of an observation. There seems to be an ever-so-subtle change to Hedwig's Theme throughout the three scores. It's difficult to pinpoint unless you are obsessed with the HP scores like me. The twelf note of the celesta arrangement of Hedwig's Theme is a semitone higher than any other time you hear the theme (such as on horns approximately thirty seconds later). But then at the very end of Mischief Managed! the theme is played on celesta and again the twelf note is a semitone lower than it usually is on celesta. A very minor observation, probably only noticeable to few. By the way, I really love how Hedwig's Theme has almost become Hedwig's Theme in PoA as opposed to the Harry Potter theme. I noticed this in one of the seasonal change scenes when Hedwig was flying throught the air. I expected the "Change of Season" theme from PS.
  8. You forgot "A Winter's Spell". I've seen the movie only once, last night, but I'm positive it's the Christmas Carol that the dwarve-creatures were singing in Hogsmeade. You know, Harry knocks them all over when he goes to have his sook. Oh, and sorry if Winter's Spell was identified/listed already, just that last time I checked nobody could find it in the movie.
  9. By the way, Morlock called it "BEST ADAPTATION", not "MOST FAITHFUL ADAPTATION". In this sense, I completely agree with him. I saw the movie last night and I absolutely loved it, and considering my views on the first two movies it's quite surprising. I was expecting it to be better than the first two, but it was phenomenal. I'll write up my complete analysis soon.
  10. My mouth waters at the thought of the climaz of OOTP; (spoilers) the duel between Voldemort and Dumbledore and Fawkes' pivotal role. It will be outstanding with those images. It seems less likely, however, that Fawkes will even appear at all in GoF. He's hardly as important as in CoS or OOTP (the latter is NAMED after him). Still, we will have to wait and find out.
  11. I think he wrote Hedwig's Theme after reading the first book. I like to think that Hedwig's Theme was inspired by the book(s), and Harry's Wondrous World was inspired by the movie. I think, at the very least, he read the book when he was asked to do the movie.
  12. I hate apostrophes in the wrong place. It irks me bad. I hate apostrophe's in the wrong place. It irk's be bad''''''s's's's's's's'
  13. Just watched an interview with David Thewlis on Rove. He's a funny guy, I can really see him as Lupin now (haven't seen the movie yet). Lupin's one of my favourite characters, I'm happy that they seem to have got him right.
  14. He didn't die. He merely escaped (spoiler) Quirrel's body which he had posessed. But if you mean *aformentioned character*; the love that Harry's mother had for him at the time of his death was too much for Voldemort's host body to touch. It's like a spell that his mother sub-consciously cast on him when she died protecting him. If you're confused by the movie, read the book.
  15. Are they still happening? But I'm sure you're clever enough to do something about it/see the police if it continues. Pete - Who hopes it hasn't been continuing...
  16. I hate you all. Though I won't be the very last member to see it, I'll still be behind. At least waiting for the score was my own decision; I've had to skip every post longer than a paragraph to do with the movie. Prepare for my review after Thursday/Friday/Staurday, and my album review is coming soon. Not that anyone cares.
  17. 1988 here, but I can't vote yet because I con't make my mind up yet.
  18. He has never died; he isn't immortal but had dabbled in so many "life spells" that when he should have died it just stripped him of a body and his powers. Happened again in Book 1.
  19. A BILLION POINTS TO CHRIS AFONSO. Thankyou. Very much.
  20. It's old; it's form the very first teaser. It's probably in some really early pages.
  21. Don't worry, I agree with you! It's like all those $99.99 deals. It's so irritating!
  22. I honestly think Rowling could write Hogwarts: A History right now. She has completely planned out every book, every character, place and event background. It would be great if it was a full volume, and interesting. Do you think that the book updates itself when new things happen at Hogwarts? It could have stuff about the Philosopher's Stone and other such things in there as well, it would be a worthy companion for the series.
  23. That is the worst analogy in the world. And Bond drove BMW's. Neil He drove Aston Martins! ASTON MARTINS!!! They are far superior to those damned BMWs.
  24. Yeah, I was thinking that too Ray. I'd prefer a complete volume rather than a little "Comic Relief" one like Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. She could do The Monster Book of Monsters too, though it would probably be too similar to Fantastic Beasts.
