I've not heard it, but I suspect I'll be hard to impress after Giacchino's stunning original and the less-coherent sequel (was that Graeme Revell?).

Also, what else has Joel Goldsmith scored?

I listened to a gamerip of CoD 3 and it sounds great. It's very patriotic, some kind of "tribute to his father".

That is all.

But this thread isn't about him, or bashing him arbitrarily!

I think I'd like to hear the full score to this - if it sounds more over-the-top (aha, see what I did there?) than the previous two. Maybe it'll be more 'Starship Troopers' than the traditional 'Call of Duty' sound.

A large majority of actual cut scene cues are orchestral, including a very interesting theme for the British, calling on WWII War Camp films of old to represent them, but unfortunately, most in-game action cues are synth created, and take away from the experience, imo.
