BurgaFlippinMan 7
Has anybody heard this score? Apparently the cd is only available together with certain special editions of the game at WalMart...
Miz 139
I've not heard it, but I suspect I'll be hard to impress after Giacchino's stunning original and the less-coherent sequel (was that Graeme Revell?).Also, what else has Joel Goldsmith scored? Luke Skywalker 1,805
One of those dune movies?

DMK 0
I listened to a gamerip of CoD 3 and it sounds great. It's very patriotic, some kind of "tribute to his father".
ChuckM 1
I haven't heard the whole thing yet, but you can hear a piece from it on http://callofduty.com/Very cool IMO.
Ollie 1,064
On the message board at JG's site I believe it mentions that they are working on a commercial release of the score.rhttp://www.freeclyde.com/
BLUMENKOHL 1,070
If anyone hasn't figured it out by now, the main theme is a spinoff from Patton! Think Winter March!
Indiana_Fett 0
Yeah, I kept telling my friend that it sounds like Jerry Goldsmith's German March.
Red 75
I've played the game, but for some reason I can't remember the music.
Miz 139
Giacchino sucks. That is all.But this thread isn't about him, or bashing him arbitrarily!I think I'd like to hear the full score to this - if it sounds more over-the-top (aha, see what I did there?) than the previous two. Maybe it'll be more 'Starship Troopers' than the traditional 'Call of Duty' sound.
Indiana_Fett 0
A large majority of actual cut scene cues are orchestral, including a very interesting theme for the British, calling on WWII War Camp films of old to represent them, but unfortunately, most in-game action cues are synth created, and take away from the experience, imo.
