indy4 155
I can't say I watched "Meet the Press" very often, but 58 is much too early. RIP.

Williamsfan301 11
Hi, I'm new to the board. Heck of a thing that this would be my first post. I'll miss Tim. Sunday mornings won't be the same, now.*humming a slow, sad version of the Mission Theme...*
Hitch 57
I too enjoyed Mr Russert's program. A larger than life character. A sad day for American media and journalism. The friday the 13th curse has struck again.

Elmo Lewis 6
Like the world of journalism could do without him. RIP.
Ray Barnsbury 8
This came as a surprise to read about, to say the least. His name alone was iconic...RIP.
Hitch 57
Just watched the NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams....very poignant. Sad to think his dad is still alive and well. It's now being reported on Fox that it could have been a clot in the leg that killed him as he had just returned from a long flight back from Italy - DVT (Deep Vein Trombosis)...we won't know further until an autopsy's been done. John Crichton 4
God. This is shocking and horrible. Everyone who knows me well knows how much politics is a big part of my life. Russert and I may have been on opposite sides where he came from, but unlike many former operatives turned journalists (on both sides) I almost always found him eminately fair and he seemed to almost take delight at asking tough, fair question to both sides. His knowledge, passion, and style will be greatly missed.Man, I just can't take this in....
Red 75
Man, this is harsh. 58 is no age to die. RIP, sir.
