Quintus 5,399
That's the main theme, apparently the score is a gem.
Wojo 2,453
According to Movie Grooves, La Piovra was an Italian TV series (1984-1999). Morricone wrote the score. The disc claims to be out of stock at that website, but existence is half the battle. They can email you to let you know when it's back.http://www.moviegrooves.com/shop/lapiovras...ckmorricone.htmI like it, but I'd need to hear more. Omen II 1,236
I've ordered Morricone soundtracks from Hillside CD Productions before and found them (or should I say him - Lionel Woodman) very reliable for delivery in the UK. It looks like the 2-CD La Piovra is in stock, priced at £18. The website is right here.
Romão 2,275
I remember this series. It was called The Octopus around here. Great show, BTW.

TownerFan 4,991
Yep, that's from La Piovra (aka The Octopus), a very popular 80's Italian tv series, in which a heroic cop fights the mafia. The first season was handled by Riz Ortolani, but Morricone wrote scores for some of the subsequent seasons. The score to Frantic, the Roman Polanski film starring Harrison Ford, has a very similar style.
