Here is a list for my own collection.

Would you be interested by a member section in my site where you would be able to tell which album is in your collection, if it is an original one or a copy, add comments... and have a url to use when you trade CDs with others ?

I think that this place is a great place to talk about collections - your own or other peoples. Talk about the missing parts in the collection and maybe

ask anyone to trade the missing parts.

Why don't we put up a new categori under the message board here.

A great place would be under trading.

Is it a bad idea?

Great collection you do have, Vincent.

There's really something I could use.

Sorry, but my collection is not the net. But anyone could ask (mail) me for a copy.

My collection of soundtracks is relatively small, although I'm working on it. I've been trying to get all his concert works over the last few months and have managed to acquire all of the concertos. :)

Well, even though I want everything, I voted for just the official ones.

I recently had in my hands three bootlegs of Williams music that are not available as official releases and decided to let them go; piracy wouldn't exist if we didn't provide a market for it. Besides, I just thought it silly that being a John Williams fan, I'd contribute to hurting his intellectual property.

Don't give in to the dark side!

I personally would love to own everything he's ever recorded but unfortunately all that I have in my J.W. collection is officially released cds.

I have mainly official soundtracks of his best scores, not all of them. For some, like Hook and Last Crusade, I've been able to find the complete scores on the net. I'd like to get more, but money is scarce...

"Ooooh, my brain hurts"

LOL! "Are you the brain specialist?!" Nothing like Monty Python Gumbys!

The first option should be "I HAVE tham all, including the rare ones".Well I do,except for some boots which are cdr's,all are pressed originals except The Accidental Tourist.I'm also missing some of his very early stuff from the early 60's which I don't really care about, like Checkmate and stuff like that.Crusher cdr'd me Diamond Head and Not with my Wife you Don't last summer and I haven't listened to those yet....

I have almost every Williams official CD release. I don't have any CD-Rs, though.....and I don't really want them. I'm a compulsive collector and everything has to be perfect, legit, etc. I will, however, settle for rarities and some boots on CD-R (like the A.I. promo)......but I have that as mp3s, not CD.

Director - very proud of his collection

Weird, I am a compulsive collector, but I just need every note, don't care about the format.
