Miguel Andrade 1,263
About seven of the I really like -- maybe not my favorites, but films that I enjoyed when i first watched them, and have returned to on more than one occasion. Others I never watched -- maybe I should. But a very interesting article, thanks for pointing it out.

Ricard 2,245
I was being sarcastic. That list is extremely unbalanced.

Ricard 2,245
Well, 25% of the movies on that list are from the 90s; Only 5% from 1900-1960. So my comment is not "interesting", it's the truth.

Ricard 2,245
There were as many "arduous productions" in the 90s as in any other decade. That is simply not a good list.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,265
The ones from the 90's are far fresher in the memory and easier to the author of this article to research. All the ones from earlier decades are well known ones. The article has little new to offer at all.
Ricard 2,245
All the ones from earlier decades are well known ones. Then he shouldn't have included The Wizard of Oz and Cleopatra.
Gruesome Son of a Bitch 6,488
Titanic is a cool one. I can still see it in my mind: the ship tilted down sinking into the water, decks lined with extras in period costumes, lifeboats being lowered and Cameron shooting from a construction crane. It's too bad a production like that is like one in a million. It made me want to pursue filmmaking at the time.
