About seven of the I really like -- maybe not my favorites, but films that I enjoyed when i first watched them, and have returned to on more than one occasion. Others I never watched -- maybe I should.

But a very interesting article, thanks for pointing it out.

Well, 25% of the movies on that list are from the 90s; Only 5% from 1900-1960. So my comment is not "interesting", it's the truth.

True, but in this list's case, at least it's more of a compliment than an insult. Even if it's unintentional.

Titanic is a cool one. I can still see it in my mind: the ship tilted down sinking into the water, decks lined with extras in period costumes, lifeboats being lowered and Cameron shooting from a construction crane. It's too bad a production like that is like one in a million. It made me want to pursue filmmaking at the time.
