La-La Land Records and Paramount Pictures present the world premiere official release of renowned composer Shirley Walker’s (BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES, MEMOIRS OF AN INVISBLE MAN, WILLARD) explosive original score to the 1997 feature film TURBULENCE, starring Lauren Holly and Ray Liotta, and directed by Robert Butler. Walker’s full-throttle orchestral score kicks off with a wildly twisted take on “Carol of the Bells” and only goes sky-high from there as Holly and Liotta play a white-knuckle Yuletide game of lethal cat-and-mouse aboard a pilot-less aircraft. It’s a big, muscular action score, Shirley Walker style! Produced by Dan Goldwasser and mastered by Doug Schwartz, this special release of 2000 units features exclusive, in-depth liner notes from film music writer John Takis.

Forgot to mention mine arrived last week..... Thursday I think it was, either that or Friday. I've been so busy, I haven't even taken the shrinkwrap off yet!

I always open mine and import to itunes.

And give them a quick run through.

Although I'm embarrassed to admit, I haven't listened to the Star Trek TOS box set yet.....

Before my external drive crashed (which I sent to Jason to hopefully recover it) I always ripped each CD release I got in the mail onto the drive as wav then encoded them to flac.

I've been on the fence about buying this one.

I really enjoy it, my initial impressions can be found here. Listening to it now, as the matter of fact. Makes me want to check out Willard.

Are you familiar with the score at all, Mark?

I probably have over a hundred CDs I haven't opened yet

That's like me and blu-rays. I open my stuff though. I probably have a few scores I have yet to listen to, because they get forgotten amongst everything else I continually buy. That's why for me 7-8 listens of something is a lot.
